On 8th Oct 2016 - 1000 quid bought 206 BP. shares & 1905 Lloy shares
Today's value
BP. 206 @ 303 = 624
Lloy 1905 @ 43.3 = 825

Many thanks for your contribution on this forum.
I hold shares in 3 companies down from 8.
Main holding in Lloyds
My portfoglio is up 68% in 13 months
And I have made some errors selling too quick on some trades.
Also we have the dividend this month
So not bad for an amateur .
I am now not selling anything , and not buying any more shares only with dividend payment.
Only got into shares last year as due to the crash.
Gold has been my thing for over 12 years
Which has allow me freedom to be semi retired.
As you say some need to examine their trading concept of investing
Love & light chips
64p end of year

She sold her Lloyd's Banking Group shares to buy multi baggers
Gamblers come and go, Lloyd's Banking Group will never make you a millionaire but will pay a steady dividend to live on ......

Analysts at both Barclays and JP Morgan raised their price targets for the Lloyds share price earlier this month. Barclays upgraded its price target to 60p, an increase of 5p, while JP Morgan lifted it from 54p to 59p.**
Whilst any Analyst upgrade is encouraging they are usually based on what they believe the Shares to be worth in 12 months time.
