&%$@in hell A1, Lloyds doing worse than RBS & Barclays & they're proper &%$t & Barcs are set to improve their div since increasing liquidity aswell. I blame the buy backs for our dip in form from %€$# to diarrhoea, whos stupid idea was that? I'm with Roberto, AHO is a relic from our nationalised days a government pick & he's European I still like squeezing through the small gaps between lamp posts & brick walls & i play kerby on busy roads when i know i shouldnt & even i know it's not very good at all...is it?
UTT - not worse if you take divi's into consideration, I don't know about you but as an investor I'm looking to the future ;-) #Buyback those dips A1
Not my job to knock BP. Newchurch - just pointing out that Lloy (with similar high yield and buyback programs to BP.) is now a worthy comparable investment vehicle to BP. #Buyback those dips A1
I consider myself to be a benefactor rather than an investor, I like to do my bit for banking sector.

Reality check,RBS and BARC both have trounced lloyds. Well done Nucky & UTT. Says a lot about Lloyds don`t you think?
Seriously James? would have though you were better than to have a cheap shot at Lloy during its ex divi dip, Of course RBS don't have a ex divi dip as there is no divi and Barc are still struggling to recover from having to cut their divi, #Buyback those dips A1
We have had our dividend cut also.Surely your figures don`t lie? By your own figures RBS and Barclays have better investments.Do you now say that is incorrect ? Encouraging people to buy Lloyds share now that cheap. Remember when driving,BOTTOMS UP.Keeping your head underwater may well help you obtain an accurate opinion. However, thanks for the figures you present,it is only your analysis what is wanting.
You don't sound happy with your Lloy investment James - maybe time to sell up? #Buyback those dips A1
RBS is still sitting at 27.4 pence old money and has not paid a dividend for many years. It is not comparable to Lloyds. The old similarity is that they are both banks. There is no point in stating that it has out run Lloyds as in the long run Lloyds is a far superior operation now paying decent dividends and in the process of buy back. Jamesroo, you know this, I am sure.
Jamesroo why would Asperger1 keep his head under water when DRIVING? I am sure that even you realise how dangerous and difficult this is. Or does Asperger1 now own 007 s amphibious car ?? He must have done really well on the Lloyds dividends ! Lol
You are not being very supportive of Lloyds advocating LT holders like me sell up, Asperger.Try to be more positive in your thinking and look at what you type before posting. Stating that RBS and Barcs are up circa 5% more than Lloyds and then suggesting people should be pleased and buy the dips is somewhat contrary. Hang in there and remember the idea of investing the fictional 1,000 was to see which share increased most.Of the 3 here only one lost money and that was ???? Maybe the buyback should be doubled. I jest. Gotta luv this share.
Dear Freya,I am sure you know I meant diving but I am toying with sobriety and it is hard reading the posts here in such a state.I have found that without alcohol when driving, cars are coming down the other side of the road towards me.Honestly is that insane or what?Clearly you are correct amphibious vehicles are the future, but say goodbye to EV`s. I could blame predictive text but I don`t really understand it. Evening all.
Jamesroo, sobriety on a Saturday night ??!! Tut tut. Thank goodness you are only toying with the idea.
I see my other posting of this morning has gone into the ether. In brief it thanked you for your service to this site which is full of facts and appreciated by me intensely. My other comments are those of an stupid old man and are flippant in the extreme. Almost forgot. Vote labour in locals.

5k invest in Lloyds now worth 5144. 5k spent on the other 5 shares worth 6233. Lloyds underperformed by 1089, around 22%. Asperger please review your conclusions and buyback statement they are not harmless but highly misleading. Still it is good to see you are posting enjoy the diving.
James - no :-)
Jamesroo Where is your calculation for 2.05p ex dividend and previous dividends paid? There will lightly be a rise up to the dividend being paid at the end of the month as usual.
