Enticing people to purchase Lloyds when they were 60/70p in your words "buy the dips" was truly shameful.
As nobody has shorted Lloyds that I can find your post was its usual tripe.
Lloyds have went up over 12% in the last 2 days and I see no schadenfreude, only the opposite.Hoping some day you will appreciate it is not necessary to be envious of others.
Good luck lads and keep raking it in.
This share should continue to rise but beware the slashing of LIBOR (I am old fashioned) not required in my opinion always makes it extremely difficult for Banks and Insurance Companies to make money and establish any growth. This together with a lack of any business plan at Lloyds causes a large beware sign in my mind.Enjoy the rise but be wary.
Our economy has been weaked by this rotten virus so stay alert and accept profits could hit a full on brake at any time. But that is seemingly distant at present.
I agree my holding in the pru now sold have gained me 40% & 15% since the drop.I didn't buy at the bottom but at £8.30 and recently trading there has been nice.
Keep going strong , quality there as you know.
Little has changed from my post of the 16th inst., simply why buy.By the way it is not a trading share currently imo,the graph declines to readily for me to do that.
Stay safe, and when in doubt just think what would a government consultant do?Lol only in GB.
When will we be clapping for Lloyds, to me it seems the efforts of the BoD go unthanked.Did none here notice we closed yesterday with a M/Cap figure of £19.89 billion, aquarter of what it was 33 months ago.Sheer genius and yet all they get is abuse from some parties.
Last week, is over and that was the week that was.Where is that shrewdy that envisaged 35p at close today, down the food bank no doubt.
I personally have made quite a bit here what with selling short when the buybacks began and can thank Lloyds for financing at least the ventures , but what do I have to look forward to now.It seems some have the opinion that this share is not for the benefit of PI`s, and no longer are true believers is this fair?Yes I do not need anymore funds but when you find a regular milch you miss it.
Enough about me, but surely the Directors deserve some from of gratitude for their efforts.A paid leave of absence or a free introduction to ,Banking,Communication, Economics, Finance.Of course I jest these pillars of the community would laugh at such knowledge being required to run a Bank.Ignorance is indeed Bliss.
Otto, as someone who would like to buy a lump of Lloyds shares and forget about them for 2 years what makes you think they will appreciate by 66% over that period.
Will the risk of no dividend not hurt the price and bad debts also. Also throw in the level of debt in society, a return of the CV 19 if it is ever allowed to leave and reduced pay for many.I could throw in higher taxes and congestion charges in the likely near future, and just wonder where the upside is coming from.
Don`t want to be negative but it seems to me that there are more snakes than ladders on the board.Where is my thinking awry?
Lloyds and Professor Martin Green, after almost two months and countless eMails , it has been proven that even the hardest questions can be answered easily as long as you tell the truth.
2.1 million unemployed currently will hurt Lloyds and all the Banks for a while, and yes some people will renege on their loans the ones that always would. Many will not and through their own honour do whatever to get their heads back above water, I hope Sunak who seems to me to be a honest man will continue to ease their burden.I also hope he will use the revenue commissioners and c&e and whoever he has at his disposal to catch the cheats from the top down.
A day when the voice of man telling .Professor Green, brought honesty and integrity back to this land. Many will have to hang their heads in shame, as it should be.
I now know why I love this Country.
Stay safe all and remember get enough money behind you and you cannot be touched.
Up LUFC.
The majority of people buy Lloyds to make money by way of a rising share price. This is not going to well, but as many say give it a few years.
I repeat the words of the song, " in the year 2525".
As many here have felt free to go off topic I will do the same.Browne sold the Gold, the Tories sold everything else, in addition they totally neglected the Country`s infra structure.
WE are far the worst Country in Europe for covid deaths, with the ring fencing of Care homes bei
bandied about totally unbelieveable .Another 545 increase in deaths today.
200K was extolled by the PM for daily testing, we still cannot reach a hundred thousand.
Putting our kids out as guinea pigs is disgusting. They say get people to work while going on holiday tomorrow.Lets put 300 MP`s into the commons pro rata with schools and see how they get on.
As for Brexit no border posts in NI, proven to be total nonsense, how many other things will be the same.
One question are you happy with this level of leadership and personal integrity in the future?
Monitoring app for covid, still coming.
Levis ,why would anyone bash AHO and the BoD?Just look what they done for Lloyds, a bunch of truly gifted individuals indeed.Double their salaries and fees if you like, why not donate your divi.
Poor example regarding Banks ,if one dog bites you doesn`t mean they all will.
The whole world is there for investing not just London Town.
Personally I like the idea of GPS for the Lloyds directors, it would prove how industrious they are and the little dots would never leave the boardroom. It would make those twats that think they do nothing eat crow and show the efforts they make on our behalf.
At this moment I am rolling on the room floor with laughter, and will therefore end with" they all lived Happily everafter ".
Just try typing like this.
Always great to hear you talk about LLOYDS jI25006.
Have you forgotten sky, media and unions are the peoples favourites, the political leaders in power have destroyed the country themselves.Hard to believe that such a honest bunch, that have handled the CV19 with such foresight and integrity,
or no longer liked. It is enough for supporters like me to cry nightly.
My single Malt does little to reduce how I feel for them.
I hope the moderators another nice bunch fully appreciate my sincerety.
Other commitments took my attention to 5;50pm today, sat down to have a pot of eat and as usual looked at Lloyds first.Always do as Lloyds bb always the most humerous.Initial reaction was honest and pleasing until I Looked at all my stocks, unit/investment unit trusts etcetra and found out out Lloyds was a lot closer to the bottom than to the top.
So Darth I was serious initially regarding Lloyds but less so now.But on a day when everything I have has went up I will count my blessing.
By the way one of the other commitments way to pay for a show jumper for one off my Great Nephews.Apparently he is good at it, breakeven today may well be a good result.
Stay alert, stay calm.
