TFE.I have to be very restrained given that my posts have been censored here and also by the Highest in the land as they upset the Government (an entity).
At the next election the people will have hopefully forgotten this nightmare virus and normal electioneering occurs.
The fact the NHS needed saving in the first place will of course be forgotten as will the reason why.Given this the MP`s we deserve will undoubtedly regain power.
History is written by the winners.The people will still make this a great and fearless land.

For myself to see Lloyds with a M/Cap of just over £21billion is concerning, in addition this Cv19 has caused all rationale to be replaced with panic sentiment and if another wave (unlikely in imo) were to hit what price then?
Ignoring all the negatives Lloyds is a rock solid buy at this SP, but then how many other shares can you say the same about.

AHO has been particularly lucky in that we are a passive do nothing nation, accepting of failure and a lack of planning as the norm.Shares for just doing their job whereas the people who own the bank and therefore take the risk have there dividend summarily stopped.The same happened during the buybacks which has brought Lloyds to its knees.At no time were the printing presses pushed into greater use than when this ploy of covering up a lack of planning was being fed to PI`s.
The graph of Lloyds underperformance and Government inertia have an uncanny traceline.
What can we do about these failures, ignoring facts and directionless leadership?Don`t forget Cygnus.

Last weeks real facts.Lloyds up 6%.Testing for cv19 took massive jump.Boris back, but the old buzz not there yet.Care homes. hospices and those caring for relatives and friends starting to get more help.Oxford/Astra/Gsk making solid headway, and disinfectant rigthly poured down the drains.
The people in many Countries must decry some of those elected but from my own point of view this has always been the case.and since I have realised a long time ago no one can change the world I now just hope for baby steps, printing money and throwing it at everything however isn`t one of them.

Don`t knock it ,27p was just a short term number, it is a certainty of markets that ups and downs will always occur.Like it or not any recovery is vaccine dependent and therefore date variable.For those of which I was not one who bought they have to date been sitting on a nice paper product which has been fundamentally important in protecting a base of 30p which protects all investors .
In recent days we had the 40p`ers and then those ramping a figure of 110p by year end.Who knows is my question?Optimism along with realism is beneficial for traders and short term earners but nothing so far for longterm investors to crow about and what if any assistance from the Directors.
A board of quality would push the CEO out in front of the cameras, to express Lloyds are a victim of Cv19 not the perpetrator and the reduction in price bears no reflection of the long term wealth of the Company.
But when did AHO ever do anything that boosted value for shareholders,Government appeasement is more his glass of Taylors Port.

I had hoped but always felt it was to soon for Boris to do a briefing.All he said flew in the face of the facts many of which you highlight superbly.Simple things were beyond him not least of all breathing.It didn`t take any medical knowledge to ascertain this was a man under severe medical pressure.Do they not have doctors in Number10. Regarding briefing,masks now acceptable a few weeks ago stated to be a waste of time.A ramble through the alpine tunnels, dismissal of Austerity,no hope for Cornwall not now maybe later and pass the parcel to Vallance and Whitty which questioned did any of the three ever play catch.
I didn`t want to watch this briefing after the shambles of Raab the previous day but a recording and family forced me to do so.Graphs that showed we did too little too late,2ok deaths passed at pace and fiqures highlighting only the even more arrogant yanks have made a greater mess of things was giving little reassurance for the future.
When did 20K OF OUR PEOPLE DYING become good? Has the country went mad in accepting this and worse still are the paraded experts in need of immediate hospitalization and mental rebooting.
Never did feel I so sad for Boris is he so insecure as to the ability of his fellow Ministers that he was driven to make such an error strewn performance himself.I am aware they were picked for being yes men rather than any ability but what was once a cabinet of cracks is now a chasm.
Before finishing I must say the figures Man united quotes are accurate and this lockdown should not be eased but screwed down like a coffin, if any remain.I repeat we need this vaccine post haste and Boris needs at least another weeks rest.

In recent times we have been told to accept that care home workers, hospice workers and those that unselfishly care for family of disabled or elderly in society were given the same thought and effort as those in the nhs and hospital service by Ministers at the so called "daily briefings".
I do not believe this and feel because they were mostly old or not viewed as high profile by the Government they were totally ignored .The fact that no person at these daily briefings come from those areas of our community proves that and the reason they have not been given a voice is simply "out of sight out of mind". Or to put it another way they were deemed as acceptable numbers to fall within the herd thinning view of some of our leaders.Throw in the fact they had and still don`t have adequate ppe, and indeed many had such stocks redirected to the NHS arbitrarily gives my opinion more credence.
Some shameful acts and mishandling still continue in this ongoing back covering exercise.The truth always comes out in the end, and the cover up is generally worse.

Thanks JerserCrew.Provisions as we both know are not a precise figure of what will occur, in fact they should imo be presented with great caution as in this case a vaccine if available quickly could make all "guesses" meaningless.
The problem with impairments here is that AHO has a very bad record when it comes to gauging them.I give PPi as an example.
Yes I know or at least believe that Lloyds will weather this storm and do not intend putting anyone off buying them or holding tight the difficulty is this.If less than a couple of months ago someone invested £100k here it is now worth £50k so what do they do wait it out and for how long or take their reduced amount and place it elsewhere where an equally strong balance sheet is in place and a more proven Ceo and BoD is in charge?
I have posted before about bad and doubtful debts in the banking sector and how sometimes they can end up encompassing all manner of loses within the industry, in lay mans terms the kitchen sink can also become embroiled.
AHO never seems prepared for a rainy day, he doesn`t seem to have heard of re-assurance, selling/ protecting loan books with other institutions or hedging in the knowledge that the sun will not always shine.
The buck if it is not going to stop and I don`t think it will means does my hypothetical investor stay or look else where?
People are told not to read to much into a past record but we are all human and remember where and when bitten before.
