Mac, Nope received nothing but surely such a vote is just a shareholder recommendation and would have to be ratified by the bod anyway? TP
I voted for him to be re-elected as he's definitely the man to steer this company in the right direction. Your brokers should have passed on the voting form to yous as there are a few things to be voted on!. Mine always get dropped in a 'voting mailbox' with the broker i use. GLA
Larry im sure will stay.operationally done great job.agm is more a chance t ask questions im assuming GC will b there.try t b there if your investor.hope t b there myself.
Well i've already voted tarquin and one of the things you vote on is. . . TO RE-ELECT LARRY FREEMAN JOHNSON AS A DIRECTOR Has your broker not forwarded the form to you?. It has to be submitted by the 27th by the look of what i received. GLA
Hiring and firing is up to GC and the bod not us humble shareholders. Why would you want LJ to go anyway ? he`s done a great job in getting this company back on track in not much over a year in charge which is a blip in mining terms. TP
.....I guess larry staying is up to us as we get to vote on it!! GLA
Could be both
Agm soon a chance 4 people t air there views and put questions.interims end of march.expect further updates along the line.personally dont believe its apple.all guess work would go with kemet.
It will have to come out at some point if things are going well..i`m hoping the cloak and dagger stuff means Apple are involved.Just had to top up there such amazing potential..remember we were at 15p not that long ago
If they truly want this to go"global" then at some point they will have to release some concrete figures regarding Ta shipments and prices. Continued cloak and dagger will do nothing to push the sp north. Specifics on Li will have the same effect. Anything less and we`re marooned here. TP
Perhaps. I imagine seeing some numbers is part of turning that corner. We know how much cash they had a few weeks ago. Maybe some clues can be extrapolated from the interims.
Pretty sure you won't be getting a lot of detail regarding the shipments, as by the sounds of things the deals he has done are bound by confidentiality. Laz ain't one for saying too much more than we have 2 deals, 3 shipments and that's more or less it. Get the feeling we'll turn the corner over the next few weeks and the good times will roll here sooner rather than later.
Should make things clearer. 3 shipments in 2017. 1 ton. 3 tons and....? I would assume higher maybe 5? Pricing depends on grade? Larry mentioned the last shipment was 51%.
How will Kenv build or drop and lead up to name change and imminent news associated with the Tantalum production and Lithium JORC ?
Guys not put a foot wrong.made great progress for the time his been in.b4 that was not his doing.looks interesting on this second customer of which will update.exciting news ahead his own words.
Its true that Li is used in some of the new super-capacitor technology but I dont really see this as the main market for Li as this is pure Lion batteries for vehicles grid storage and laptops etc. Capacitors have pro's and cons for energy storage and would not really feature in longer range/duration applications or grid storage to be honest. The technology tht competes with LiON in grid storage is Vanadium flow, but this is big and bulky and immobile. Li business = vehicle batts as a rule.
I have to say that it is very refreshing to see the posts on Kennedy returning to a realistic positive tone.there are lots of really good research being done here. I'm still not certain how many people have cottoned on to just how big this company will become! As I have said before there are not many people I would put my money on but he is certainly one of them. We won't have long to wait before the news rolls. Starting perhaps with name change 5th march!
The tantulam would finance the lithium.believe once jourc estiment done.possible. early 2nd Q could b producing lithium concentrate this year
Mr Cautious, thanks and good to know someone atleast has a grasp of electrical applications. I have nothing to do with electric's so a question if I may. Would the lithium also be seen as a positive. I have read that some capasitors use Li-ion surfaces, but it seems more interest in this very specific field would be graphine. Even better reliability and capacity to unload and offload energy ?
another positive is larry is living near the mine and is in consent contact with all employers and on call 24 hours, seems to have a great relationship with his employees, most staff never see the ceo, just a figure head
As an Electronic engineer originally I can say the reason why Tanatlum is so desirable is that it allows you to make high reliability and very small from factor capacitors which have relatively high values for their size. There is no way around the need to do this in compact technology such as phones tablets and laptops etc...
APPLE talking to secure cobalt. Islandgirl one for you. 2 hours old. 3 sources inducated. https://af.reuters.com/article/africaTech/idAFL8N1QC0ME?feedType=RSS&feedName=ghanaNews
Tantalum is an important component in many modern technologies, and is used in capacitors for everything from computers to mobile phones. Despite its importance in the world today, tantalum mining takes place in very few countries. Only four countries produced tantalum in 2016, and most was mined in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), an area known for issues related to conflict minerals. Rwanda, Brazil and China were the other top countries for tantalum mining last year. Read on to learn more about the worlds largest producers of the metal; all statistics come from the US Geological Surveys An old report but given that Apple refuse to take Ta from the DRC and obviously not from China theres not too many places to get it from, especially such high grades.
