Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
Hiya hope all well with you. TP
Been a holder here since the last ice age but don't normally post. As always much money to be made pre spud and possibly much more afterwards depending on your appetite for risk. Best regards to all the old stalwarts, Brom et Al. TP.
Ancient news, totally out of date and no longer relevant I'm afraid. TP.
No ground breaking news but at least keeping investors informed which has never been their strong point. The wait continues. TP
Who can forget Robin Hood69 and his wretched bible the worst ramper I`ve ever encountered. Though one or two of our current posters run him a close second.
It seems news flow has now completely dried up here now which only endorses my opinion of the bod with their seemingly utter contempt for shareholders and keeping us informed of events.
Nobody could be surprised if investors threw in the towel here as patience has been stretched beyond the limit.
I hope as all do here that something tangible can be rescued from this mess but with so many false dawns it is definitely "hope" rather than "expectation" now.
TP
Like a pub with no beer!

I`m sure I echo all posters here in wishing the population of Namibia well in the grip of a global pandemic. However linking their health issues with the total news blackout we currently have regarding our finances is I think nonsense.
First it was" all but a done deal "then it was" a few minor issues regarding completion", now we`re back to "several interested parties". The serial rampers here will doubtless bang on about Mineral sands, diamonds, Tantalum, Lithium et al.
With such an embarrassment of riches we should have potential investors beating our door down for a slice of the action but strangely not a word. As always total silence from the bod and utter contempt for us small shareholders.
Pathetic state of affairs .
TP
Many of us have tried this approach sadly to no avail but good for the soul if nothing else. Have metaphorically shoved this in the bottom drawer with a few of my other " watching paint dry" shares. Who knows one day we might get adequate financing, build a pipeline and finally get something tangible out of the ground. TP.
No finance, no water, no news. The interminable wait goes on. At least I'm in 88e so something to smile about. Enjoy your weekend. TP.
The 12 month figure has been mentioned but no confirmation of this by the company.
I have had a fair degree on experience in laying overground water pipelines as I know several others here have too.
My gut feeling is once the green light is given it will get done in considerably less time than a year.
Hopefully it will get done a great deal quicker than it is taking the finance to arrive!!!
Not a share for the impatient .
TP
Fortitude, Your enthusiasm never wavers!!,
Had to chuckle at the 34th position we hold in the league table of safest democracies . How the the hell do they assess that criteria, I love it.
Regards TP
Poppy seed ,thanks for your insights and research. Fingers crossed that a few buds bear fruit soonish. TP
Hi Poppy seed, do we know what that actually means. We can all hazard a guess of course. TP
Totally agree,. However the caveat with your post is, "ours is still in the ground".
Until we get the funding, build the pipeline, finish the road, get the mine up and running. In the ground is where it will remain for the time being. The market recognises this too which is why the sp is stagnant or drifting.
Hopefully news soon!!
TP
Hi Fortitude,
Not sure yesterdays news was a market over reaction. Given we were informed that basically funding was in place pending a bit of i dotting and t crossing, the reality was somewhat different. No timescale was given for completion other than we hope but dont really know, which the market never likes. Thus the fall. Which was`nt actually as bad as I feared.
I`m sure like you I believe the delay wont be excessive however even you the eternal optimist must surely concede that this is a fair gaffe by the management.
Regards TP
Extremely disappointing news. A big slip up by LJ after previous rns basically implied funding was a done deal.
Seemingly that is no longer the case.
All appeared to be proceeding smoothly but now big question marks.
As to the rest of the rns, well a big fudge. No figures ( not in the least unusual) just jam tomorrow.
Apologists will once again say " mining takes an age, Rome was`nt built in a day etc etc"
Bad management, expected more from LJ , who I`ve come to admire.
Bad day for KZG however you choose to dress it up.
Still holding as always but pretty hacked off with this nonsense.
TP
Steven 49, you are forgiven, we all suffer with same. Lots of speculation here, not unusual. In these circumstances. We await conformation via RNs all else is mere guesswork. Time will tell. GLA. TP.
In the words of the late great Strother Martin, "What we have here is a failure to communicate"
Come on LJ show us the money.
TP
Hi Fortitude,
Can`t quite figure out LJs other game plan if there is one.
Certainly agree on speed of pipeline construction (cant remember off the top of my head the distance involved).
Its been eight extremely long years for me so not too worried a few months either way now.
Big plus here is not a huge share issue and most tightly held so when it does move it could be special.
TP
Slight confusion here. The rns a bit ambiguous I felt.
Obviously the mine needs water or we would`nt be building a pipeline. Of course it can be brought in by other means (expensive) but we would be doing that already and producing product if it was viable, surely.
As I`ve previously stated I think the pipeline will be installed in double quick time. Funding now in place. I basically read the rns as " we`re getting the mine out of semi mothballed state, oiling all the machinery and getting a road up and running , prior to the arrival of water"
Its a time scale thing and people are interpreting it slightly differently.
Not being negative just scratching my head too.
