Would`nt fundamentally disagree with anything you say.
I`ve been here years since Ken days so another year wont hurt (or maybe it will).

China are building a coal fired power station at about 1 per fortnight and they have about 20% of the worlds population!
India burn coal and oil like its going out of fashion and they have about 16% of the worlds population!
America are the biggest oil producer in the world and the biggest consumer. 4.5% of the worlds population. Uncle Sams petrol heads are`nt going to be trading in their gas guzzling V 8`s for anything electric in the foreseeable future.
We should`nt be worrying about electric cars or the immediate future of the fossil fuel industry in the near term (choking to death possibly, though). AIMHO of course.

Le Major, funny old world!
Had a mate back in Agri college, 81, Bought an old milk float. He charged it up every night from the college mains with some jump leads and a lot of wires through the adjacent shrubbery. The tale of the pub crawl on said vehicle with 12 students on board became local folklore. Story for another day.

The whole electric car debate seems nonsensical to me. All you are doing is moving pollution from point A to point B.
Where`s all the electricity going to come from? and if anyone says windmills I`ll jump.
The fossil fuel industry is the second biggest industry in the world (behind arms and munitions, sadly). So they`ll all go quietly will they. Let`s all make batteries instead. Utter nonsense.

Funky, always respected you and your opinions. As to the subsidiaries , well never sure in these circumstances if we as shareholders ever get to actually benefit or the cream is siphoned off for the fat cats and we are merely thrown a few bones.
As always we don`t get to see the small print (or indeed the large!)
Facts and figures are what ultimately drive sp performance and we are starved of both which is why we are a sub penny share and will remain so until that changes.

One registered trade, brilliant!
Funky and co can bang on about time scales in mining, regurgitate rns jorc etc.
However what really matters is when LJ actually tells us the mine is properly up and running and providing a regular stream of Ta to the mysterious end user.
I`m still invested and believe it or not can see this coming good but will continue to sit on the fence until the day traders arrive in swarms for their 20% which will indicate that at last something is happening.

Surely, it depends on the concentration of Ta in ore.
High levels of recycling in most mining operations these days. In a desert they`ll try pretty hard I`d guess!
