TD, you mirror my thoughts almost exactly. Can`t afford a major loss , so 2p would cover my investment and the rest is a free ride. Obviously in until the end of drill results but a slice would be nice! TP
Always amuses me how people seek to denigrate "traders" as if they`re in some way immoral or greedy. We`re all here to make a buck are`nt we? LTH`s who adopt the moral high ground consider themselves investors not traders. Surely the only difference is the time span involved. Do people seriously think "investors" are long term purely because they have the company and its employees best interests at heart. Personally `I`ve never traded as I dont have the time and as for charts I would`nt know a T line from a panty line but I do think there`s room for all. TP
RE: So is this response a hoax or confirmed?22 Jan 2020 17:06
MW93, no offence intended, I`m here until the drill results are confirmed , good , bad or indifferent. Today is just a sideshow, the next month is the important bit. TP
Interesting development here. Are boreholes the way forward or simply to carry through phase 2? Has the pipeline been ditched? seemingly for now at least. TP
RE: Re RNS.........................................................19 Jan 2020 17:47
The trouble here is as always. The market reacts to a degree on intuition, to a degree on those simply having a punt, to a degree on media tips and to a degree on current investing trends. What catapults sp in this and every other company are cast iron figures. As always here we have none. If this company has aspirations ( and i actually think it does) to be a serious player then it simply has to give current and potential investors some figures on which to base a serious judgement. Unless or until then the sp will remain in the doldrums. TP
So we at last have some sort of ongoing income stream but as always rather vague. The water issue is being addressed . Good , as we cant run a mine without it. JORC continues, there`s a thing! All a bit like pulling teeth but fundamentally nothing to dislike. I guess LJ will continue in his own inimitable fashion. Have a good weekend all. TP
Let`s hope so. Maybe there`ll be a little less secrecy attached to this part of the business and we may just get thrown some scraps of information on which to make investment decisions. TP
Been here 25 yrs so yes you probably do. I get asked what the people are like. " over educated under achievers" is my stock answer, and I include myself!! Eggardon , another great walk, we have many as you know. TP
We do of course have a commercial well here in Dorset. Further up the coast in Kimmeridge bay. Stunning coastline if you`re ever in the area. The nodding donkey has been pumping since 1961. 65 barrels a day . Rather hope the upcoming drill here is going to be a bit more lucrative!! TP
Brom, always assumed , the colder the better (within reason). Lower than -20 is bad for machinery? Sadly all it does in West Dorset is rain incessantly. TP
