Leon could do worse that take a lesson from the CEO of Zephyr Energy ZPHR. Following a disastrous blow out on a key oil well drill last year investors have been waiting nervously on redrill results. Today ZPHR put out a nothing RNS saying drill 2/3 of the way to target and on schedule. Result happy shareholders. Leon might think of doing something similar for Roan. I.e . All parts on site assembly on track for completion by end of May. Just a thought
We were told just under a month ago that there had been a projected 6 week delay on the delivery of these key components so no reason to assume they are already on site.... hopefully soon though.
It's made virtually no difference to the sp of ZPHR. If you start getting info about what the CEO had for dinner people stop taking any notice. I/4 of work done, %/16ths completed ad nauseam.
That just underlines my point Seis. My wording was an example . I have no idea where this electrical kit is neither have any of us. All we are interested in is that commissioning is still on track for completion by end of May as stated in last project update.
Maybe they could RNS the tracking code for the delayed parts and people can track it in real time if they want 😉
Given the number of issues with the delivery of this stuff I bet most of the regulars on here would have looked the tracker up
I bet it's coming via Hermes. They'll probably break it en route.
Seis, in the interview with The Roast following their Q3 Operational update Leon said he'd been told the parts were due towards the end April/Beginning May so he'd know by now if they had missed that timeline.

Well spotted Ant, if they have kept to that timeline then you might assume ramp up is underway. Personally I think they will wait until they are sure everything is running as expected before releasing news, just in case of any gremlins in the system.
Difficult to call isn't it. It feels like there maybe further delays but it could just be, as you say, they want it fully functioning before reporting on it. They do seem to be really pushing the Chrome PR side which is good because it seems to go under the radar but also could be seen as a way of diverting attention from Roan.
I'm hoping for an RNS at any point to say it's up and running but even a small delay again isn't the end of the world with everything else going on. I just see this as a real lighting of the touch paper so the sooner the better for me.
Out of the companies the Roast boys had planned to
visit on their Zambia trip by far the most exciting was Jubilee as it Ramps up this month. So they planned to visit on a Bank Holiday... or did this bank Holiday suddenly appear out of nowhere. Anyone with two brain cells can see through this BS especially they only came up this excuse once emails were sent asking why they didn't visit Roan.
This is feeling a little like last month. If commissioning hasn't started yet then I'm expecting the next RNS to announce another delay. Atleast the Roast Boys are now exonerated as they never went to site or asked any questions so they tell us... bahaha what a load of BS.
So you say!
People see conspiracies around every corner these days. I'm sure as soon as it's up and runnind we will all (or most of us) be happy for a few minutes.
It’s reminded me of the fact that Leon was due to visit Zambia / Ndola at around the same time as the Roasties. Was he visiting to see Roan being ramped up? It would fit with those timelines.
