I have been here a long time and always had a inclination one day this would take-off. I think the journey is just starting a lot more to go here. Anyone remember Smokey Mountain
Hi Asaika - yes, I go back to Smokey Hills days. We wanted to use their processor for the Dilakong tailings, but then dabbled in trying to buy the mine outright. It all fell through (mercifully). Toxic debt, I think. It did continue to operate but was eventually mothballed in 2016. It's then owners, African Thunder (who must have acquired it from Plat Australia, as Dore says), sold out to Sail group. I wonder if it will be resurrected given the recovery in PGM prices?
Wow! 12 years...I only entered this share about 8 months ago....hopefully your patience pays off as demand now hopefully increases globally. I have no idea what the share price could realistically reach but a friend of mine who invests in this type of market seemed to think the JLP had a lot of upside potential moving forward, even though it has been around for years.
We'll see where this goes.... 20p onwards and upwards...
10 yrs and holding strong... i firmly believe the company based on current earnings projection, and rising commodity prices is a 1bill company.. i see fair value at 40p to 50p.. each and every day the investment is de risked as JLP is moving forward.. just need rns to confirm milestones
Wonder what their target price is? I hope for 40p+

Would be lovely to hold at these levels a little bit longer, only for the selfish reason of wanting to add more. I suspect the resistance at 20p will be broken shortly though and then upwards and onwards
We’ll see,
Another fast rise will result in a lot of short term profit taking.
Only time will tell.
In terms of value, i am of the opinion that the forward pe is still very low given the lower than industry average project to revenue timeframes. As such I still believe we could
Hit 50p in 2021 with 100p in another 12 months.
Thoroughly enjoying this week in the meantime.

Easily Nelson, wait till the earnings start showing, coupled with new projects!
I bought into Braemore back in 2007 before they were taken over by Jubilee. Taking into account the conversion to JLP shares the most I paid back then was £3.80 a share!!
Thankfully my initial holdings weren't massive and have topped up along the way so that I now hold just shy of 1m shares at an average of 12.4p.
Like most long term holders the increase over the past year seems very surreal, but undoubtedly based on strong fundamentals, and like most holders on here I have no intention of selling anytime soon.
Wow, 14 years is a long wait, glad your patience is finally being rewarded! I first bought 2 years ago at around 3p after reading up on the company and thinking they were on to something. With an average of 4.7p I'm delighted with how things are shaping up and I don't think we are even close to fair value yet! My target price is around 100p before I even consider selling... lets see if I can hold my nerve!
I think Leon must have some deals he is working on to add to the stockpile. I think Colins 500M remark was probably just a mistake/exaggeration unless Leon announces another 200M tonnes soon. Mind you, he never announced the last increase up to 300M tonnes did he.
I would have snapped your hands off for 20p last year, I am in all the way here now
If this deal in Cyprus goes ahead (processing historic copper tailings dumps) - how long before JLP start production (earning)? We talking months or years? Thanks in advance
typically it's been about 6 months study, 12 months build, 6 months commissioning
British Mike. We can move extremely quickly to get as far as a concentrate which is saleable (less than a year). But, as 'arry' points out to refine this to 99.99% pure copper is another story. I know there is a working copper mine in Cyprus (Skouriotissa) whch produces concentrate by solvent extraction and then purifies by electrowinning (so no roasting/smelting) but I don't know if there is working refinery (or even a mothballed one) like Sable. They did smelt copper in 466 BC but I suspect that refinery has been decommissioned! I'm really guessing here, but I wonder if the amount of copper in the dumps is enough to justify building a refinery from scratch, with all its problems and up-front costs. But what about run of mine ore? At least three companies are prospecting like mad. It's a fascinating story.
Thank your for the replies. I was thinking a couple of years likely.
I have st least 15 years in this and at some point I exited EMED to pile everything in here and it had certainly paid off!
well done matey- i still have all my ATYM shares but did buy a few JLP at 4ish and sold for 8p not long ago but then jumped back in at 10p
ATYM still way under valued with copper steaming ahead
Still fondly remember the Seville trip you organised just over 8 years ago
I have thought, from recent experience of JLP sp movements, that about 21 to 22p will be the time to sell off a big chunk and invest elsewhere while JLP sp stays reasonably static for a month or two. I am now not so certain. As we get more recognised and established maybe the sp will keep ticking up with a chart more of a straight line (e.g. like AAL or FXPO) and trying to trade JLp will not be worthwhile . What do others think?
@Frogboy
EMED?
That's going back a bit...

@alanadale, that little beano to Seville to visit the Rio Tinto mine was fun and an eye opener for me. Wow. 8 years ago. Maybe I should organise something tor Jubes one day. I remember being on the same plane as Bill to Madrid. @coldfeet, yes I am still calling it EMED in memory of hood old Harry A. Apols all for O/T.
