100% Northern, the years of pain from energy to roads.. acquiring assets which are now considered more valuable and building relationships with government.. plus cash from sale.. I agree we need to scale up and evidence to market we can produce consistently and with good margin.. but its all in place.. let's see how it goes
Thanks for the clarity and agree that production needs to be scalable and profitable.. given rainy season is not a one off and happens every year, you would hope JLP factored that into plan running and design aswell as forecasts
NTGU.. quick question for you.. forget how much JLP are producing for now.. if a business wanted to enter zambia today and gather resources and build mining and processing capability.. how long would it take and how much would it cost.. JLP have secured resources and capitalised plants when copper was 8k per tonne.. production will follow
Agree next 12 to 18 months, alot of projects on the cusp.. we need delivery of these and a record of hitting targets.. LWRP, drill results, sable to name a few.. the cash balance will be strong
Copper unit production guidance for H1 FY2026 of 2 300 tonnes and 5 100 for the full year FY2026.
· Further capital dependent projects which are currently underway and being targeted to commence within FY2026, offer the potential to increase annual copper production by approximately 10 000 tonnes as follows:
o Onsite Munkoyo processing unit - 1 440 tonnes per annum;
o Project G processing unit - 1 320 tonnes per annum;
o Refining at Roan - 2 544 tonnes per annum; and
o Two processing modules at the Large Waste Tailings dump - 5 500 tonnes per annum.
Is the point that copper prices and demand is starting to increase now.. JLP started its journey 5 years ago and have significant experience and relationships in zambia.. they have already invested millions.. They have producing assets, resources, relationships and expertise.. To add They are now focused on one geography and have cash in the bank.. 5k tonnes 2026, run rate to 15k by end of June 26..
Thanks Charlie for your dedication to calling out the performance of CMRS, especially during holiday season. I will take your advice as be selling my holding
2026 has to be a year of delivery.. time to land these projects and the share price will look after itself.. the cash balance at financial y.e 2026 will be interesting..
Reflecting on the year. If anyone said platinum would be at 1,700 and copper close to 12k this time last year and our sp would be 3p, you would have not believed it. This has to be rock bottom surely
I had a good exchange of emails with JMK a week ago, nothing outside of what has been released. However plans for capex Outlook and more structured guidance is something we should be expecting.. 2026 should be a very interesting year
