Hey everyone, I've been diving into some research, and it looks like the companies waiting for the Final Investment Decision (FID) on the 500MW project could be significantly influenced by a couple of key auction dates coming up.
First off, there's the EU renewable hydrogen auction on December 3, 2024, which has €1.2 billion in funding available. This could be crucial for securing financial backing for hydrogen projects, potentially accelerating timelines if successful bids are made.
Additionally, the UK Hydrogen Contracts for Difference (CfD) auction, also set for December 2024, represents another vital opportunity for financial support. The results of this auction could provide stability for UK projects and help shape the decision-making process for companies involved in large-scale hydrogen initiatives.
Did anyone attend or is there an online link to listen in? Realise it started at 10AM so could almost be over.
**** helikon “investments” and their war on clean energy
Between RNS and twitter they actually don't do too bad in updating. That's compared to several others.
Less focus on meeting minutes and more positive RNS's would be a helpful start.
Just interested in case field any Q=A's at the end.
I know we don't normally get AGM statements but might Dennis be tempted given all the previous interest?
At least the technology for carbon capture and storage is well tested and proven. It's called "plant a tree"!

I hope the hydrogen doesn't get thrown out with the bath water.
All we need is a colour blind government.
But then we all know these Mps have plenty of shares in the Oil & Gas companies. So they are protecting their own investments before the country. ( Leaches )
These Mps should hang their heads in shame.
Think we need more orders & quickly.
What a waste of money. They've certainly pulled the wool over the eyes in government (both parties).
Another £22 Billion subsidy from the UK government to support fossil fuels. sHell must be getting the champagne out. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cy4301n3771o
Not a chance Musk is going to fuel cell. Surely he'd have gone with fuel cell for the semi-truck if he thought that fuel cells had any merit.

Tesla is officially going hydrogen! After years of ridiculing FCEVs and hydrogen combustion vehicles, Elon Musk is about to eat up his words! With the recent disdain towards electric batteries and the general reliance on fossil fuels to produce electricity, Tesla is about to conform to the fact that EVs might not be the best solution for ecology, especially not compared to hydrogen!
Is this for real or fake news? Model H?

Today's drop is perfectly normal for a company that is cash negative and has been for something like 15 to 20 years. It is only worth what is in the bank and it is amazing that we get a premium on that.
Well Labour are claiming there will be only one budget a year.
I feel no need to get out of the market due to UK activity which is a minor part of the world market. But up to you, my SPs are fine across the piste while the FTSE is still way above 8250 which is amazing given your suggestion
From the sentiment in most forums I frequent on this site it seems the market sentiment is get out and remain liquid before the labour mini budget. I'm guessing also that a lot will start out until after the main one in April. It will be very much the same old, same old. Take grub the public for the first 4 years and give little back to win the electorate over in the 5th year.
Anyone care to speculate as to today's drop? Come to think of it why a company with a fortune in the Bank is worth less today then when they started? Or why despite all the tail winds the SP is at rock bottom and is showing no sign of moving?
