As a comparison of similar companies ipf listed on lse
We have
Amigo (AMGO)
Morse Club (MCL)
Non Standard Finance (NSF)
Provident (PFG)
Out of these 4 both AMGO and NSF were loss making last year with 27m and 76m loses on revenues of 294m and 180m respectively.
MCL and PFG were both profitable last year with 16m and 84m profits on revenues of 117m and 998m respectively.
IPF as U would expect you all to know had 71.8m profits on 889m revenue .
However, P/E ratio for IPF is 2.2 whereas as MCL and PFG are 5.5 and 5.4 respectively.
Further illustrating how undervalued IPF is against peers.
I would just like divi update at half year and even at a discount it would be really positive, the £45 million is all bonus if we see any of it. They might keep the rebate which allows divi to come on line sooner

April 21 bond now at 95!
The timing of the Polish tax rebate does at least explain the delay in the monthly update.
Looking good for more rises, assuming the business is vaguely profitable at these lower lending levels.
I wouldn't be remotely surprised if IPF signalled the resumption of divs in next month's update, albeit at a lower level (perhaps 40-50%).
Should get blue soon.
I need to get impatient with more of my holdings! Lets see more upside tomorrow!
The order book was so strong today, no many sellers, so I guess the share price will open up by 5%+ and will see a blue day.
All in my opinion
45m ultimately helps bottom line and currently ignored by the market.....
It’s strange that most people are chasing aim fantasy shares and currently overlooking the potential here...
I’ m blue overall on this share now after buying today. They do something positive with the 45 million, I think they want to take it in and decide at half year. Also if they now feel with COVID under control and delivering a small divi may start gla
£45m changes the whole equation here... 100p here we come.
After doing some research.
This should be valued between 100-110 now.
If they decide to pay divi it will go higher if not the money can be used to amend bond terms and payment. Either way the 45m is not taken into account in the current sp....
There'll inevitably be a pull back in the morning perhaps to mid-60s to shake out the soft hands. Usually the MMs have been doing this as part of the 1st part of the trading session. Long-term good but think there'll be a few trading opportunities for some on the way to £1
I guess tomorrow will see 75/77p and still cheap...
Of course is undervalued!
£45M = 21p per share. Not to mention the solid trading update.
Say no more....
good man! it's held up well today since the morning breakout. i like steady rises, not sharp ones !
Well I bought some today around the 68, 69 mark, gla
to move further. surprised it hasn't gathered more pace.
Each RNS is just cementing solid progress, very happy with today's update, with the conclusion of the repayable £45 mil an extra bonus.
The way i see it every update removes volatility with the share price and should give some reassurance to investors holding long term, sure i would of liked to see a push to near the £ mark of the back of today's news, but i do strongly believe it's only a matter of a few weeks away, sentiment must be very positive with how the company is performing and delivering ever increasing results since the difficult day's just gone by.
let down by volume!
Very surprised it hasn't risen more, hence the top up.
What is the likelihood of a special divi? Do they normal pay debt, keep or are they a more free board to hand some out?
Agrre with all this is great news today.
Stil amaxed that even now we're trading at what just 40% of pre COVID levels? Can't see any reason why this is still eblow £1 myself.
Agree, £45M is worth around 25p per share. Special divi anyone..... Im adding at these levels market has mis priced the 45M. never mind the excellent Operational update
Been stuck in auction all morning on HL. I think once that clears we’ll see the volume follow.
come on!!!! get your friends / dogs / parents to buy !!
Note in calendars for the 8th sept, should be a good day.
