Good job you got your vaccine dawski- the way the EU are acting...
It would be great to see a second Viking Invasion --Export Credit Guarantees would certainly help this time ...and there are more than 3 ships in the fleet ...just waiting here and there at present in the Baltic and the Adriatic---they know the way and are familiar with us !!!! . A little worried about any E.U. registered ones though ..possible issues over payment and VAT etc !!
ThisTimeNextYeer In relation to your 14.24 post what I found interesting apart from JW arranging the Export Credit Guarantee Facility which would help with cruise ship finances post Covid is this quote '“We’ve seen a real shift in the past six weeks. We’ve gone from cruise lines saying ‘Yeah we’ll look at March or April’ to ‘We’d like to dock between these dates and here are our specifications.’” that would seem to indicate that the next three months might be busy.
There's a great article on Infrastrata in Cruise Industry News today.
They seem to be going for the big boys in the cruise ship world, with an office in the 'cruise ship capital' of Miami. If we can get some of those massive Royal Caribbean ships in, those big articles outstretch the Viking sisters by 100+ metres at over 300m.

The market has not woken up to that RNS yet but it will soon enough.
It seems that any time between now and the 31st March the marine licence decision will be made and it seems to me that infa are sounding confident about a positive decision in our favour but until we get it confirmed i am not getting carried away.
I only received 40% of the extra shares that i applied for after applying for 5 times my open offer allowance and yesterday the funds were returned to my account so i used that cash to buy more infa shares on the open market.
After doing extensive research for the last 18 months and piling in when the share price was below 30p i was happy to now pay 45p for what i believe will turn out to be a superb investment
Given time we could easily grow into a billion pound company and i am delighted i will be there for every step of the journey.

Expecting a more sustained rise now, £1.5m a month just from one area in the middle of a pandemic, wait till the sector actually starts up again, then there is the other 4 areas of attack and Appledore nearly ready to rock the boat. Dawning of a new era. AIMHO
Of important note is that the current assets are more than the current liabilities. From the point of trying to obtain contracts this is an important metric. As everyone expected the post period highlights were the most interesting. Ferry repairs are bringing in circa £1.5m a month. Once Appledore starts generating revenues this would increase. Would be interesting to see what Cenkos says
Current revenue of 1.5 mill a month!! I'd put it in bold if I could. Cracking....baby steps still but huge uplift in revenue post period.
Post-Period End Company Highlights
· Acquisition of Harland & Wolff (Appledore) for £7 million
· Successfully raised £7.40 million in December 2020 / January 2021
· Significant uptick in revenue generation since September 2020; current monthly revenue generation equivalent to FY 2020 revenues (£1.5mill)
· Cash break-even position achieved and maintained within the cruise and ferry business
· Progress being made on large contract fabrication for renewables and defence; pre-qualification achieved and contract negotiations being undertaken
Reads well and surprised you lot aren't up yet
Chrisatrdg In relation to your 19.58 post of yesterday aside from the issue of the accounts which could have been handled better my frustration is not with INFA but with the incompetent idiots. They seem incapable of making a timely decision. As defence questions are on Monday Lord Empey's colleague Mr Donaldson is likely to press the point with the Secretary of State.
dawski37 In relation to your 18.25 post Stena Edda is according to the Belfast Harbour page not due to transfer to any of the normal INFA docks. Any repairs seem to being done in situ.
Hi stokey12 - I happened to be switching channels today & listened into the question being made by the NI peer & the Government peer answered by saying that the Government has been working with Harland & Woolf Appledore - I believe she was referencing that Boris had visited Appledore.I guess somethings are happening in the background. We need to give INFA time.
Loosegoose In relation to your 19.01 post I do not have any information on which to form an opinion. I am currently planning to find funds to top up just before the interims in April.
My thoughts are that you have made a wise investment at an opportune time; and for the early risers we will be looking at the latest company accounts in about 12 hours!
What are the thoughts about an RNS at 07h00 tomorrow morning with the Annual report? I will be waiting - again! Bought a further 20k today!
At least we have the brand new Stena Edda coming in very soon now ( she is waiting at the Cruise berth) to fill the short gap between other scheduled visitors .Apparently nothing to worry about from the Chinese builder's point of view ..just a few plates have come loose and the bearings need some oiling ...will be a great photo opportunity to see her in Dry Dock just like the Vikings.A good sign that we are keeping Stena Line on board ( so to speak ?)
I am not sure about House of Lords procedure so I do not know if the government knew what questions apart from the first question from Lord West were gong to be asked. If all they had was the Peers name the question from Lord Empey would have been easy to guess as the subject was shipping and he was a Northern Ireland peer. Which begs the question will we get an update soon on the discussions.
Thanks Stokey, that is interesting with Harland and Wolff and Appledore getting a specific mention around 13:29.
As long as they keep prodding we will get a result.
I have found the Parliament Live coverage and can be viewed here https://www.parliamentlive.tv/Event/Index/d0ef739f-f7be-4bbc-9491-79007fae12a2. The part of interest is at 13.27 and while not saying much that is new is encouraging.
What a point to stop at lol. Hope the answer yet to be published is a good one! Thanks again stokie
The link to this question is here https://hansard.parliament.uk/lords/2021-01-25/debates/FF858339-7B39-4EED-831A-40775A64355B/IntegratedReviewNewShips. There is an interesting question from Lord Empey at the end unfortunately the answer is not in this. I suspect that is because the Hansard Reporter has not transcribed it I will update tomorrow when he full transcript will be available.

Tango1 In relation to your 13.50 post I agree we need an explanation if the accounts do not appear this week. In the 8 January RNS it was stated that INFA was not going to use the extension of time to file the accounts. If that still remains the case the accounts would need to be filed this week.
