Has anyone received back their unused funds from the recent placing? Mine are held in a SIPP and are still showing as ringfenced and not released back into my cash value yet.
I doubt daera have even saved a blank word document titled ml decision recommendation! Why do something today that can be put off by a year or two appears to be their mantra. Best wishes to Mr Poots however
Edwin Poots is unwell so whilst I’m sure we all wish him well and can access the treatment he needs to make a speedy recovery. I do hope this doesn’t delay the decision.
He does of course first have to be in receipt of the recommendation (one way or the other) from DAERA!
With the closure of the extended (extended extended additional ?) consultation period today and assuming their hasn’t been some incredible new revelation in environmental science or cetacean behaviours then one can hope a letter has already been drafted and will find its way into Mr Poots in tray before the month is out.
Losing the will to live over the ML. JW has stated on occasions, decision is within weeks only for many months to pass. The delay is political not environmental. When it suits the Government, we will know.
Hi, think consultation ends today at 5pm
For each buyer, there must be a seller. If a significant number of buy trades are printed without impacting the share price, it means one thing...the seller or sellers are bigger and ongoing. If it was a buyer I would be more worried as to how easy it was to buy 1% at the lowest price for a while...must have been a seller.
Well tomorrow is the last day of the public consultation, So the decision is close :)
Lottie123 In relation to your 09.12 post I did not pick up on the fact that the trade was for an amount equivalent to 1% of the company. Hopefully when the accounts come out this week it provides a boost. With all the reported buys if they are all buys it looks like people may be taking a position in advance of the results.
At 1% of the company, it is confusing. Is it a holder who took the placing? If it is a buyer, where has the stock come from. It would mean there is a lot of stock slopping around. Without positive news, this would threaten lower prices short term.
I suspect the large trade is a seller completing an order.
We seem to have had a larger number of trades than normalfor this time in the morning. The 08.13 trade stands out in particular.
A lot of interest in #infa at the moment. Some big names now bought in again too. Think sp is gonna move up...let's see. Gla
Moz2020- If you can't see why Babcooks is doing badly you should not be investing.
That's a bold statement with players like BAE and Bab****. Not an ideal time to be entering this sector considering the poor results of Bab****. Hopefully with increased defence spending there will be a bright outcome for all.
ThisTimeNextYeer In relation to your 17.32 post I noted that they had invested as an original purchase just over 3% so my interest was peaked. I have not done any research on them so thanks for the heads up.
TTNY, adding in the morning in my ISA
For me this is very significant investor and this RNS alone has been my motivation to top up further today.
Octopus is a company that I'm personally very familiar with and have previously attended seminars of theirs in relation to their Venture Capital Trusts (VCTs) and Enterprise Investment Schemes (EIS's). These seminars gave me a great insight into how they go about due diligence in selecting companies for investment including what they want to see in a company prior to investment. I'm honestly very excited about these guys now onboard, and excited WHY they might have came onboard.
DYOR folks but for me, Octopus will definitely have done theirs before investing and their research will have been much more comprehensive than that most of us Joe Publics will have been able to do.
A other holding on behalf of Lombards
Interesting to hear what people did get- HL have finally updated mine today, got marginally over half of what I went for. Positive that it must have been over-subscribed.
Good to get this out of way in any event, as we can now build away from 45p.
Looking forward to seeing what happens with this one this year.
GLA!

Stokey ,certainly looking very good imho ,good news on holding ,building nicely
Hello fellow investors. After much research I have today taken the plunge here and bought in at 45.80. I have had INFA on my watch list for some months. It is good to see new institutional investors taking a position here with others topping up.
I am not new to investing but new to these boards, and this one does not have the b!tching that you see so much, just genuine investors, keep up the good work . RR
By my calculations, top seven holders own just under 40% of shares, that’s without majority of long term holders on this board. Great signs for the future IMO.
Killik. 10.94%
Lombard. 10.53%
Gresham. 4.56%
Crux. 3.46%
Spreadx. 3.20%
Octopus. 3.11%
S D Roser. 2.39%
Happy to be corrected, but pretty sure of my sums lol.
Maybe some, like me, only got 25%-ish in allocation, so topping up?
Does somebody know something I do not as we seem to have a sudden flood of buyers in today. It may be people want to get in before the accounts come out.
bought back the one that i sold around 50p
now that placing is gone, we are in much better position and projects will be coming soon
happy to see large institutional investors taking stake in here
i bought back in as well. happy to wait and once placing churn finishes, we will rise towards 100p plus
