I agree lottie.I am suspecting the marine licence has been approved in certain circles and the hold ups are being used to kick the can down the road until such time as a related matter is over the line. The northern Ireland and London governments want this and they would be able to override any DAERA logjam.Something about this gas storage facility points to a very significant plan that looks like it may be coming to a head.
If that is the case, either a large sell print in the morning (delayed) or the market had quite a bit of stock on its books which it is happy to lighten up.
Tango yes agree there
There is certainly something in play!
What on earth is this public body doing. Having had a protracted public consultation last year, what justifies extending this new consultation. What could possibly be gained? Something, or someone, is keeping a lid on this project. It smells of political skulduggery.
Lottie123 In relation to your 16.16 post going by the trade price and the time of the trade I think they were all buys.
I suspect they are not all buys...if they were, you must ask, where is the stock coming from. Either the market took a large slug in placing or one of the large takers of stock is taking a quick buck. This is usual indigestion post this type of action. We must just hope demand remains strong, especially as the issue was over subscribed. We need something new to reignite the momentum. Without it, we may struggle to make any headway in the short term.
Excellent news regarding take up of shares ,indeed maybe someone does know something :)
Fair one Stokey. This is a bargain at any price.
christianmideast In relation to your 13.24 post I suspect due to the timing that it maybe people who feel that the may not get all the shares they wanted in the open offer.
probably because 10% discount to placing
Some large buys again today.Wonder does someone know something??
Yes, It was posted the other day.

I see the open offer was oversubscribed so it will be interesting to see what the effect on the share price will be.
I would not want JW to buy anything else until all current assets are at 50% capacity with a 12 month view of orders/Contracts.
IMO- We need cash in the bank to be able to get bigger contracts, so hopefully JW is sitting on his hands.
I note that TPG have had an approach in relation to a possible disposal of their Maritime Engineering business in Portsmouth. Any views on whether it would be a good fit for INFA if they ere to make an approach.
Good post speedy, just shows environmentalists do not want any improvement, Maybe we should get every environmentalist a bicycle with a dynamo on and they can peddle the power the UK needs, at least they would be helping the country.
I note that HL have deducted the cost of my shares in the open offer so looks like I am getting all the shares I wanted. I wonder whether II and HL applied for the entitlement that they would have if all their clients took part in the offer and then distributed them accordingly. With any shares from pople not taking up their entitlements being used to meet requests for additional shares. That would explain why everyone seems to have got all the shares they wanted. Unless the offer was not oversubscribed.
Holding back up to 200 turbine windfarm extension down the coast from H&W Belfast. That could be another project JW would be targeting.

Further to JWs message on the website the other impact of storage apart from security of supply is to dampen price spikes. February price hit 75p + today.

Speedy_Gonzalez In relation to your 17.12 post I notethat thisarticle is over a year old and these 'advanced negotiations' do not appear to have gone much further.
