If we have solid results, good forward bookings and debt reduction, it's likely we could hit £2+ Just need the long awaited news of when dividends are restarting!!
Just need to get to 180 by end of today and hold it and hopefully a good launch next week with positive results!!
....or breaking out ?
Just topped up a cheeky 25,000 shares. I've got a good feeling about next week, hopefully comes off!!
Maybe it has found the strength to hover at 178 :-)
Just has to rise 1.5% today and stay there for long enough to stick.
Could do with cracking 1.80 today. Hopefully some movement upwards in anticipation of first quarter earnings report. 1.80 seems like a brick wall.
I wonder if they are closing down their positions.
We are a week away from Q1 data, which should be red hot.
It would be nice to see a 180+ close today.

I dare say if one were to ‘dyor’ then one could work it out. But this is the IAG board so a guessing game it is.
My guess is 59 with 60th this year.
Hi fordm
i am fine thank you.
in Russia we are expecting some sort of attack. as it is victory day on 9 may. and no doubt Zelensky will try and spoil the day.
i see Cameron is in Kiev too. so, something is going to happen. maybe another attack on Crimea bridge. they are always threatening to do this.
but life goes on as normal.
i think if they go for the bridge and this time destroy it. then there will be a huge response from Russia.
as always Cameron is saying its Ukraine who decide. as if we are to believe this nonsense.
macron is talking again about troops. but not much is said about this on news in Russia. we will see.
like you said they are already here. a month ago, a lot was said about French troops being killed...but as always nothing said in western press.
i read both Russian press and western press.
on May 8 it is Putin's inauguration. another date to think about.
you take good care fordm
Morning tricky, how are you doing bud?
Seems like our media are ramping up the 'Putin is on the attack, we must ramp up our spending' bent at the moment.
Macron is trying to set the stage to 'send' French troops. We have morons as political leaders, not statesmen with diplomacy skills.
I have a simple way for wine. reds from s Africa and whites from new Zealand
i did go through a period of trying a different red while living in cape town. until one night after the third glass, a huge spider appeared. but by then it was too late. so, i was not deterred from finishing of the bottle.
good luck today. and have a lovely weekend. all
I'm going for 56.
My guess is 58. No prize for the winner but please offer up a number for some harmless fun.
Yes - now up almost 6% this year!
"the FTSE has been on a roll lately"
Its at a new all time high I believe
Cheers CK. Oyster Bay is good stuff. Unfortunately, while you might get a bottle in the supermarket for £9, in the pub it's more likely to be that price per glass, and I generally prefer to do my drinking in a social setting (although I am at home having a sneaky vodka and coke right now). Still, with my shares, here and elsewhere, doing rather nicely just now, I figure I can afford it. Plus which, it is my birthday over the weekend, and I generally feel the need to anaesthetise myself (more than usual) at ticking another year off my all-to-brief time on this planet. Plus which, it's yet another year where Kylie has failed to recognize my potential as a partner, and as the solution to her problematic love life.

As you said NZ may I recommend Oyster Bay for around a £9
Like yourself it’s good value.
Dow and Nasdaq both had a strong finish, with airlines up about2%. If that rubs off here tomorrow am.- and assuming no Friday sell-off before the long weekend, we could head into the weekend on a really positive note, in which case I may upgrade from Moretti to a cheeky NZ sauvignon. That said, the FTSE has been on a roll lately, so I can see some kind of profit-taking sell-off tomorrow. Just depends on how big an impact that has here.
Casio_kid; you are correct - that is a small boat heading towards us. Unfortunately, it has a capacity of 36, and has 103 migrants on board.
"They US, UK and France all have 'boots on the ground' in Ukraine. They also have boots on the ground in Gaza."
Would have had boots on the ground since 2014. Maybe not the French.
Definetly needs a life raft, by its numbers and P/E a 50% rise is perfectly resonable, taking the share over £2.50.
No1, Macron is saying something that is already happened. They US, UK and France all have 'boots on the ground' in Ukraine. They also have boots on the ground in Gaza.
When they say something, it means they have already done it, past tense.
Also, the fact that NATO is supplying weapons means for that they are already involved in a war with Russia, let's not kid ourselves.
Must be election season in France...
C_K, that's not a boat, that a mine.
One problem, could be Macron's comment, about sending French troops into the Ukraine!!
