Ryan Air The Ireland-based business said it carried 19.9 million passengers over the month, representing a 3% increase on the same month last year. It said this means it has carried 202.6 million passengers over the past 12 months, up 7% year-on-year.

Elsewhere, rival London-listed airline Wizz Air also reported a significant rise in passenger numbers.

It said it carried 5.88 million passengers in June, up 10.8% against the same month last year.

Its seat capacity was 10.4% higher year-on-year as a result.

Wizz said it has carried around 65 million passengers over the past 12 months rolling, up 4.7% year-on-year.

The timing of the RNS meets the regulatory disclosure requirements, which is the director? Has four business days to notify the company of the transaction and the company must disclose the transaction to the market by the end of the next business day.

Putting out an RNS beats that requirement by one day.

Yes the actual sale was made on Thursday 22nd May the buyback program buys almost the same amount of shares every day. That's just under 4 million and it didn't change on Thursday. Nice WORK, if you can get it!

This looks like a reduced amount of holiday makers going to those areas and moving to other places. They are responding to demand. We are not talking about business flight s to New York.

EasyJet were confident of summer bookings seeing no slow down in demand. Quarter 3 Already 80% booked.

Ryanair said bookings were at one percent on Monday.

All In All, the messages coming out from European Airlines, including Iberia are extremely positive and this should bode well For the future.

I think that you make a number of relevant points which I tend to agree with. As a substantial long term investor I’m inclined to give it more time and also take advantage of the dividend. World outlook can change rapidly up or down and the best way to keep the price stable is not to panic sell. Where is the price going next? No idea, but for me it’s definitely not time to sell.
