Alex Chapman, senior economist at the New Economics Foundation, said: “Business use of air travel peaked in 2007 and has fallen further since the pandemic.
Obviously then it fell in 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, you get the picture.
In 2007 the Basic Vauxhall Corsa cost £8,500. Today the cheapest Corsa is £19,600.
Maybe less people are flying business, but prepared to pay more to avoid, escape, the "hoi polloi"?
