Your source of information is good, but your maths not so! don't want to be picky but the Market cap gain is actually 31.4% from 2019. I know it's only 6% but I think its best to be as accurate as possible. I could also see this share hitting £4 if the BOD declares a good dividend.

Crowsley, I’m with you, and you’ve got the share split and shares in circulation spot on and well explained. This is my take on where the share price is, it’s very rough and ready

But this is what I think.

Before the capital raising 2 billion shares in circulation with a price that touched £7.30p. That would value the company at approximately £14.6 billion. Currently 4.8 billion shares in issue x £3.20 = £15.38 billion.

So that makes us on about par with the share price and company value prior to Covid. However 2025 looks like being more profitable than 2019 and the company has restructured is leaner better focused has reduced its operating cost i.e. more efficient aircraft lower staffing costs reduced overheads.

Does all that translate into a better share price such as £4 an approximate 25% uplift from where we are now. that’s my take on it and I am quite bullish for the way the companies going forward having invested in them for over 10 years. I’m not trying to influence anybody so.DYOR and good luck!🤞

It's quite simple just click on the RnS button at the top of this page, which says IAG live RNS.

You will then see how many shares they bought back that day and if you scroll down, you'll see every single share purchase, the number of shares purchase and the amount they paid for them.

You'll see the shares purchased on the London market in pounds and shares purchase on the Madrid market in euros. That information is available for every day since the buyback started.

If you can be bothered and spend the time required, you should be able to work out roughly how long the share buyback process has to go. The difficulty is working out the average price per share purchased and the amount of capital allocated to buy them back.

They are not really interested in proper analysis just want you to click through for their subscription service. Popping up quite frequently with IAG obviously they have a very large shareholder base. Personally, we take everything they say with a pinch of salt.
