You are erudite and too kind, I’ve been quiet in bewilderment as all the normal financial indicators and parameters support a company in robust health. When you research the opinions and calculations of serious analysts P/E ratio , EBITD etc and given the past history of prudent financial management by a company unlikely to go bust, it is frustrating. Your rant is understandable. Let’s see if tomorrow’s an improvement on this last week’s uplift and the ME situation gets better.

Without doubt that will help any decision to resume paying dividends if a penalty contribution comes into the equation.

I haven’t see anything about repaying loans before being able to pay a dividend? My understanding it’s linked to pension funding as the RNS put out at the time below. Also I remember seeing that no payments to the pension fund would be due if the NAPS scheme recovered with sufficient fund valuation.
