Bollinger RD, (Recently Disgorged) is my favourite champagne, not as expensive as some, but up there at £250 a pop.

Unfortunately the last bottle i had was 15 years ago!

We live in hope and if this shoots up to 250 who knows.

The sun is shining, the share price is out of intensive care, recovering in a side ward but will need time before it get better. They should have all the tests back by August 2nd when it's anticipated to have made a full recovery.

There is no point beating yourself up about an investment you made, that has not performed. You sound lucky enough to have a portfolio of different shares. Thats exactly why you should have a diversified portfolio to smooth the risk. When they did the rights issue because of covid the price of IAG dropped to 90p I bet the people who stuffed them into their portfolio's then don't think it's a dog! Unfortunately that wasn't me!

Thanks for posting that great analysis by Robert Boyle, who's almost last paragraph sums up where we are.

If analysts give a stock an overweight rating, they expect the stock to outperform its industry in the market. Analysts may give a stock an overweight recommendation due to a steady stream of positive news, good earnings, and raised guidance.

There you are from frivolous to serious in one small step.

Wouldn't be helpful if IAG were a little more forthcoming with their thinking / plans in this regard without giving away sensitive commercial secrets. Investor should know whats going on to a realistic degree.

Surely when they divest part of the business, this will be for a sum of money. Landing slots aren’t free. Maybe there is even a profit to be made like asset stripping and keeping the best bits?
