"You have questioned my post."
No I wasn't or didn't mena to
All I wanted to point out was that we had no details of exactly what went wrong, nor had anyone given any indication as to when it would be fixed. Yes of course there is slack in the system - you can't do just in time with an FPSO WOS. But there is/was a possibility that eventually it might affect production - some other posters seemed oblivious of the fact - not you
if miss world offered it to mira on a plate, he'd want her to take a test beforehand. he takes half the uk's happy pills a day just to keep him going in glass half empty mode...
Mirasol
You have questioned my post.
When you rent a house and the plumbing breaks you call the landlord and he pays for the repair.
This could only have been a problem with the offloading machinery which is part of the vessel infrastructure. What other problem might it have been for which HUR would be responsible, and therefore liable to pay for?
“It may mean the field has to be shut-in for a few days until it is fixed”
No.
Timing of offloads is arranged to avoid reaching the storage capacity limit, primarily because of adverse weather conditions so there is no reason for an immediate shut down. As we now know Petroatlantic is returning which indicates that whatever was wrong has now been fixed.
It is fatuous to suggest that this minor hiccup is evidence of imminent collapse and the immediate need for and alternative income stream.
01:46
Well I personally haven't!
Petro Atlantic on it's way to Lancaster
"If this is an equipment fault on the AM it seems reasonable to assume the repair cost will be down to Bluewater. It will result in a larger than average offload "
Depends on the exact problem and how long it takes to fix it - it may mean the field has to be shut-in for a few days until it is fixed. Emphasises the need to acquire a second income stream ASAP
rfarfa - How often has more than pocket money sized trades been made on this share over the last 2 years?
18:54
Could it not be that one can only buy if someone is willing to sell!
It appears that only pocket money shares are being traded.

This is Simply Wall Street clickbait. It is utter rubbish and anyone taken in by it is a bigger fool than the Motley Fool.
make that the 3 - ceo, cfo, chair
And what underlying factors exactly have us shareholders noticed??
Hurricane Energy plc (LON:HUR) announced strong profits, but the stock was stagnant. Our analysis suggests that this might be because shareholders have noticed some concerning underlying factors.
well i think the analysis opinions arerubbish , hur are looking good
If this is an equipment fault on the AM it seems reasonable to assume the repair cost will be down to Bluewater. It will result in a larger than average offload which can only translate into more revenue and more net cash post bond repayment.
They should have enough capacity for a further 8days production before shut down.
Storage capacity excl. slops 604,478 bbls (96,112 m3) in 11 Cargo storage tanks (98%).

PS I only happen to know this because our most valuable family heirloom is an 1860's ship's chronometer, presented to a forebear captain by the grateful underwriters.
This was for having jury-rigged a storm-damaged rudder (avoiding the need to put into harbour en-route) and getting a tea cargo delivered in a timely manner in England.....
Hi DYOR2,
Not 'jerry rig', please ! Wires slightly crossed :
.."Traditionally, to jury-rig means "to assemble for temporary, emergency use; to improvise," whereas to jerry-build means "to build shoddily, flimsily, and cheaply." The connotations are different, with jury-rig emphasizing the impromptu nature of the construction and jerry-build its inferior nature..."
I don't think HUR will economise on a solution !
ATB
I think I recall the max operating capacity is 610kb so they have a few days to fix the transfer equipment, if not they maybe able to ‘Jerry rig’ something and offload a few 100kb to buy time and maintain production.
They will fix it, don’t worry.
Unfortunate, and comes with additional costs, but this is the first time ( that I can remember) a problem has occurred.
According to Marine traffic info on the AK she has a max capacity of 104724 DWT x 7.4 = 775k BOE, so hopefully not a problem until a new collection can be sorted?
Ha, ha I sound as if I might know what I'm talking about, not really just what I've managed to dig up.
appreciate the information - thanks
The offload never went ahead due to a breakdown on-board AM. Supply Vessel is on an urgent run to Scrabster and back out with spares.
assume the offload went smoothly yesterday.
( more $$$$$$$ in the kity )
the Petroatlantic seems to be on the move again, to Macduff
