Next tanker is due for offload next weekend, 23rd/24th all being well.
Sense, love your posts re HUR........ just hate the bickering with simple.
Price agreed (in any contract) varies with all sorts of things tho generally 38-40 API gets best prices all other things being equal but impurities, odd strange minerals, refinery type and capacity all affect the base price
then of course there are shipment costs etc etc..................
Mirasol, I had an inkling it would. Thanks for the information it is most useful.
Senseman, you can be sure most of us will not be filtering your very useful contributions. The other person is already a green box for me and it is much nicer that way.
Hi Sense. I'm personally interested in both your and Simples views, I don't necessarily agree with 100% of anything either of you say because I have 65 years of accumulated life experience. Keep posting the good stuff.
euston et al
guys you know me well enough to know i get your point. and will have noticed i have for a while given him a wide berth even when it's clear he is at it. however it's rather difficult when one writes something helpful to all and he deliberately misinterprets, just to have a pop. however much one leaves him alone, he just will not stop
by the way - i also wrote to comms recently, asking re AGM agenda. No reply so far
"Thanks for that. Often wondered how many barrels there were to a ton"
It varies with the specific gravity of the oil - or the API eg
API Sg bbl per tonne bbl per long ton
25 0.904 6.98 7.09
30 0.876 7.19 7.31
35 0.85 7.42 7.54
40 0.825 7.64 7.76
Filtered both of them a couple of weeks ago. Soon they will be chatting to each other personally, when everyone green box's them both.
Just filter your less popular posters, you get a sea of green boxes but better than reading that drivel! Needless to say, over the last few days it's all but Green boxes on my screen
Hear hear Euston, it’s beyond tedious & not what people are on this board for!
Simple and Sense............could you please stop bit##ing at one another. It really is getting very boring. We are here to read about shares issues and HUR ,not you 2 trying to score points over one another.
Senseman - of the little medical knowledge I have personally. All I will say, is that one who offers unqualified psychological/psychiatric advice and that suggests a person is suffering from a psychiatric condition is usually the one who requires medical intervention and I will leave it at that. Is it pity you want people to feel for you or respect. Now do you think you can stay on topic and talk about Hurricane.
I haven't reported your post for two reasons. One is that it shows you up for the type of person you are, especially when it is posted directly after a favourable post thanking you for information and the other you are purposely trying to goad me, as there is information on the thread you want gone and you think if you goad me enough I will report the posts and the thread will be deleted. You have form for this and you have admitted such on past occasions. I ask others to do likewise.
sound likely dive, in light of delay. if just 550K @ $108, less 8% off the top straight to Bluewater, would leave net $54.6 mill to HUR
Offload complete and Petroatlantic is now en route to Wilhelmshaven. Draught is 12.6 from 9 which all confirms a larger than average load. I estimate at least 550m barrels.
simple - if i may offer in good faith a helpful suggestion. if i am able to ascertain that you exhibit classic signs of two clearly identifiable psychological syndromes, both ultimately rooted in insecurity and low self esteem, many other posters will have also noted this. in lay terms the best way to start countering this is to stop trying to be so sharp that one cuts oneself, and in the process alienating all
this is categorically NOT a personal attack. but intended as a genuinely helpful suggestion. my hope is that it is received as such
That puts it at roughly $56.7 million. Can't see BP choosing last 5 days of month, as Brent is on an upward trajectory currently.
"at 7.5 barrels a ton indicated 525,000 barrels. and maybe a bit more"
Thanks for that. Often wondered how many barrels there were to a ton
24/5/2022
20:01 certainly a full load was in port for 28hrs from 2022-05-23 16:11 LT UTC 2022-05-24 18:51 LT UTC tonnage in region of 70,000 maybe a bit more i reckon
laserdisc
at 7.5 barrels a ton indicated 525,000 barrels. and maybe a bit more
from miovace over on advfn - offload completed
24/5/2022
19:41 Petroatlantic now departing for Wilhelmshaven in Germany. Sitting 3.6m lower in the water than she was before loading started - that's a lot of oil in there.
laser on advfn will be busy at the moment working out the likely barrelage
Some of the posts at the weekend used words liked "crooked" "bent" etc etc
Normal chat but LSE have to worry about lawyers - no point in them chasing an individual poster but lse actually have some money
Further still, if the well continues to behave and we achieve a further 4 offloads in 2022 then we could easily have $200m unrestricted by end of the year. Thats 10p a share alone not including any value for assets and tax relief. By the end of the we must surely be +15p
Some fag packet sums;
As of 30th April we had $92m unrestricted cash, this offload, which will now probably be more than the usual 535,000bbls, should net us about $45m profit (using slightly higher offload x $78 ($108 - $30 lift cost)).
This gives hur $137M less the cost of outstanding bonds ($78m) = $59m unrestricted. By the end of the next offload ~ end of July they'll near as damn it have $100M in the bank, unrestricted!
Not all doom and gloom! And the sooner the share price realises it the better!
If it was me I would say so. I'm not squeamish around potential fallout but on this occasion it wasn't.
can't see moderator off own bat trawling through HUR threads, with hundreds of LSE forums
and simple says not me so for fairness have to take at face value
from memory johns thread just average impatience muttering re main execs - nothing to upset anyone
couple of posters always been in love with chief execs for inexplicable reasons so maybe them on a mission?
so watch & wait time - usually all is revealed in time
