Wanderer100 I made the assumption, most following the link and reading the piece, would be independent thinkers, it appears I was being a tad optimistic.
"Cause fear and panic" I would suggest you're exaggerating somewhat...

Bartlebobton: Why not show the full statement rather than try and cause fear and panic?
LONDON (Reuters) - Oil producer group OPEC+ will meet on Monday to discuss the weakening demand outlook in the face of rising coronavirus infections as well as increased output from Libya but is unlikely to recommend immediate action, OPEC+ sources said.
An OPEC+ joint ministerial monitoring committee, comprising top producers Saudi Arabia and Russia, is scheduled to meet from 1330 GMT.
The Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) and allies including Russia, collectively known as OPEC+, have been reducing output since January 2017 in an effort to balance the market, support prices and reduce inventories.
Morning, stop lossed a couple of times and took the hit but still a small investment here and willing to buy back in bigly on firm news re production rates and reserves. I also think there is a good chance of some form of joint venture between HUR and another north sea player.
Good morning everyone,
Any updates on the next loading ?
Discharged ! Cheque On It’s Way ! Good Sp Support @ This Level ! New Bods Time To Shine !
What happened to that ship everyone was getting their hopes on ? Did that turn out to be nothing aswel ? Banging out 14.5k barrels a day and still can't maintain a steady sp
£350.00 down on these, decided to sell, may recover but it could be long time, cutting my losses, mms win.
Lincoln 14.
Expect to be hooking up lincoln 14 with spirit and the OGA’s say so.
This is why they have brought Miracle Man on to the top job. HUR can be refinanced just like any other stock but only if he can find future earnings. I suppose some of the £100m could be used to buy the dross being sold by the majors but have doubts because they would not sell if the well could pay its way.
genghis - not a discussion i want to get into on this board. I assume you have prioritised by giving up driving your car and flying on holiday?
"it might be a luxury we cant afford"
A habitable planet just might be a higher priority.

3 options,it can go broke,it could be consolodated ,it could rebound, its at rock bottom ,mms playing this nicely,
hold for gold.
Cap't Swag,
"i have watched some of the well known covid stocks"
Bother. I didn't know Coronavirus had issued shares. Those little blighters seem to work hard, and are rapidly expanding...
Thebhoys
Well for one I'm only challenging the more ridiculous rampers, and for two I'm negative because the technicals and fundamentals look very negative to me
I promise you the day either the technicals or fundamentals look positive I will be truly ecstatic and post positively
Good Post.
Lol
Energy sector today is the most undervalued sector in the stock market, crude supply is tightening while demand is slowly but surely picking up with no viable alternatives to O&G around at present, HUR is decently producing with a brutally kitchen sinked SP that must surely only go upward from these nonsense levels based on company fundamentals, of course in my opinion only.
A massive upward bounce/breakout here is inevitable, even on minor news as we are simply trading way too much under fair value at present, IMO.
Thanks for posting a rosy future for HUR - the current valuation is ludicrous.
if hurricane is going to survive like use think then before i invest i need some answers from you whizz kids.
How will they repay the bond and upgrade production with little free cash , lowered production output and little assets to free up cash.
My personal view is they need a investors help or they sell the company.
or.....
to cut all loses they sell everything , pay back money owed and go join another company )
mcadder - that is quite a big leap to see hur going into greener energy. i thought i was taking quite a big leap in thinking they would go for other more conventional oil plays to keep the company going and use AM for more of its contract. I am not sure on this
i suspect the reality is that at the moment we are looking at hur over a two year period - when the are bonds due. if the plans can cover these then the future could start to look rosy. my own feeling is that oil will be propped up during covid19 as countries will need the income. if normal consumption then resumes it will be interesting to see the effect on oil price.
