Ticking up nicely this morning. Long may it continue!
Moving up just now…fingers crissed for a nice close tomorrow….. in anticipation of news next week?
More and more investors are holding tightly onto this shares. That's why the free float is getting less .
Should move on any decent buying
Also, Junga:
Fully funded
Near Term newsflow - Scoping Study and funds to grow pipeline which if delivered on could substantially de-risk any investment.
Drilling Q3 which is weeks away.
The experience of the management team is priceless.
Onshore US Asset.
Goverment and Industry connections downstream.
Proven active fairway that has helium discoveries.
Literally wrote the book!
This is the key in choosing any investment;
>> Strong Management
The Management has extensive experience in the helium sector,
which, more importantly, crosses the technical and commercial
divide. We consider the team at Helix to be a feature that
differentiates it from its peers.
Oh I know it's my decision, it was more of a rhetorical question. It's skipped up again on open today, might wait and see if a slightly better entry point presents itself. No biggie if not, I've already got a decent bit in here.
Owl is your decision to take but there is an good opportunity imo to more than double your money here in the short term from this level.
Many of the peers with less attractive project location, inexperienced management, not fully funded etc are st market caps more than double helix's.
Good luck and as always dyor
Jungmana
I've some cash floating around out of bloe that I sold up, the instability in Georgia is unsettling me for now. Do I...? It's really tempting.
Don't miss out because of drilling dogma and terminology Jallis. So many of these things fail because of numpty leadership and license squatters. We've a Saint in charge here and an already drilled well with inert gas. It's sat on top of granite basement chocker with uranium and thorium. Avanti is just about to go into production from the same faiway. What else do you think they're going to find down there? If you ain't bought already... NAI/DYOR.
Trek, excellent post and I see a similar opportunity here.
Have built up a large holding with over a third of my pot invested .
I intend to add more here in a weeks time as expecting some funds.
There’s an old saying. ‘Sell your losers and ride your winners.’
Sometimes investing can be as simple as that but some folk can’t bring themselves to crystallise losses.
I sold a couple of stocks that were down and a a few more that were up to pile into here!
Imo the opportunity is still here at this price.
I wanted to add more today but was NT where I wanted to sell but will be trying again tomorrow!
This is such an opportunity ahead of the main newsflow and it’s just dependent on time. Not cash, getting a drill, licenses or any of that. Just gotta wait!
And that’s not even thinking of potentially the big one. The flow test!
It’s just the expected baking into the sp of operational progress as each step is completed.
There’s been a few hits today at CHAR, BRH, VAST, PET, VAL etc all had a run of bad luck, need finance/income. Just shows how difficult it is. Also shows how rare it is to have a Bod with an upfront plan and funding in place. One that don’t need to raise again to get to first base!
Makes a pretty unique opportunity this at this operational juncture, no matter how you decide to play it.
Gotta laugh though Monday it was looking slow. Friday will probably see a rush for what next week brings!
I am hoping this sub 20p holds a bit longer!
Usual caveats
Trek
Looks like it. We now have a buying floor and last few shares available in the 18s are being scooped up. Think we might be setting up for another Friday flurry!
Imo we could get an upward adjustment to those broker valuation numbers with the scoping study due to be released this quarter.
Moved up in the last hour, time for next leg up?
With Q3 round the corner and scoping study due in Q2 plus additional pipeline opportunites things are hotting up.....refreshing to be in a company like this after the ups and downs of HE1 last year....
Fully funded to!!!
I must say the educational updates are also second to none!!! Who is the PR team?
Oh not you again....have you figured out how to use Google yet?! You sound like a broken record..
Helix have funds ready to fast track for additional pipeline...
Weird how u pop up when market seems short of stock. Back to your pjpe weeman
Oak Securities Broker Note cont'd - 16 April 2024
>> Q3’24 Low Cost and Risk Multi-Target Exploration Well
Yesterday’s news announcing the appointment of Petroleum
Consultants LLC puts the Company on track to spud a low-cost
exploration well (~$2.5mm) in Q3’24. The well is targeting a
multi-stacked play concept with four separate prospective
horizons.
Helium has been proven regionally and in the vicinity of the
Asset, meaning that the Geological Chance of Success
(“COSG”) is higher than would otherwise be expected; the
Amsden formation alone is estimated to have a COSG of 42%.
>> Strong Management
The Management has extensive experience in the helium sector,
which, more importantly, crosses the technical and commercial
divide. We consider the team at Helix to be a feature that
differentiates it from its peers.
>> Positive Operating and Sales Environment
Montana is a mature oil and gas basin, making helium
exploration and development easier and lower cost than
would otherwise be expected.
Helium’s scarcity and the US’ position as a global swing producer
means that there is a perpetual excess of demand, generating
upward pressure on pricing.
While the helium market is opaque recent observations from the
USGS place helium conservatively at $420/mcf, but Open
Market and surge pricing continues to push prices towards
$1,000/mcf. Analysis shows that the helium price is the key
determinant of helium production economics.
>> Financing Sufficient for Three Wells and New Projects
The relative low cost of exploration wells, coupled with its recent
funding means that the Company is funded for potentially up
to three wells, which provides for either a follow up appraisal
programme, or accessing further projects.
Incase anyone missed it this is from the broker ;
Take not of this; "readily available infrastructure"
Oak Securities Note - 16 April 2024
Helix Exploration plc’s (“Helix’s†or the “Company’sâ€) helium prospect, Ingomar Dome (the “Assetâ€), is a low-cost entry 9.6 point for investors to gain exposure to a potentially high-impact exploration well. The unrisked valuation (131p) is 12.0x the current price, and the risked value (39p) is 3.6x, which means that the risk-reward balance favours investors.
Valuation
The high helium price and readily available infrastructure lowers the threshold for commerciality, making even small volumes commercial, which reads straight through to value. The Company’s risked valuation is $60mm (£48mm – 39p), while the unrisked valuation is $202mm (£160mm – 131p).
I mentioned on here previously how this is misleading drill as there is no known Helium encountered in this will. Responders argued that there is Helium in the soil samples, I pointed out this means nothing as HE1 had a similar situation on their first drill and that was a dud.
Today we see another example over at Chariot of a well that had strong indications of the target element at surface/within the well but was still a dud. I repeat this is not a an appraisal well and shows at surface do not mean it will not be a dud.
"Whilst the results of the Gaufrette well did not deliver a material gas accumulation, the presence of strong gas shows and excellent reservoir development is encouraging for future exploration in this area. We are looking forward to now drilling the Dartois well targeting a different reservoir system and trapping style to the Gaufrette prospect, with success potentially unlocking combined Best Estimate recoverable prospective resources of 20 Bcf on trend."
Jungmana,
Many thanks for taking the time to share.
