hovering around 6.7, will it drop any lower before a rerate, may wait til Monday to jump back in..what say ye?
I was getting very frustrated seeing other orders being filled paying less than I was willing to pay to buy and my order sat there for hours. (Not Hemo btw)
Manifesto, Not sure if HL work the same way but I had an interesting call with AJBell yesterday RE Limit orders. Basically with them if you place a limit order they will not release it to the market UNTIL its inside the trading range that has been set by the MMs. This is fine most of the time but it does mean if there is alot of variation like a big drop or big rise and the MMs dont update the bid or ask and the actual trade price is too far away your order will never be submitted or filled. The only way to get your order actually submitted to the live market is to ensure your offer is ask or higher to buy, bid or lower to sell. IF the actual price in the market is lower or higher you will get that price but it is a gamble. Other wise you basically wait until the spread changes, or you use a platform that lets you submit your limit order directly to the market where your order ranks equally with every other order placed.
On HL ....If you cannot get a quote you can use the fill or kill option
Put the number of shares you want and the max you want to pay..
It goes through to the dealing desk..if they can fill it you can
buy at the same price as dealing online..they send you an email
to tell you if they have dealt...if not the order is cancelled.
Or put in a limit order and that normally gets dealt if the SP
hits the price you have set...again for the same fee as trading on line..
As usual, buys outnumber sells but we are down.
@Dufry - Share price being low frustrates me but does not alter my opinion of the potential of the company. Honestly they would have to come out with results where their treatment has failed or been abandoned for me to lose faith. They have so many things going on however that for anyone to be a success means the company will grow massively in value and each time they update its positive results thus far. If it was JUST Hemogenyx saying this I would have a healthy dose of scepticism however we have a very happy un-named GlobalCo, we have a very happy Orgenysis sticking our name over all their literature and we have lectures going on in Israel basically saying our work is involved in a collaboration involving the Defence Industry against Disease X among god knows who else. It really would be an impressive feat to mess up what Hemogenyx have going right now, I just need patience. Which is HARD. I am very impatient, I am going to try and set an app to alert on RNS from Hemo and stop looking at this board for updates, IF I CAN. Because it appears that market sediment, feelings, future potential etc are all irrelevant at the minute, Hemo got caught by the Covid bubble burst and is immune to positive sediment.
Anyway, Short answer to make me doubt the investment full stop? It would take a lot.
Just bought 30,000 at 6.8p. Was pressing requote with HL for ablut half an hour though ??
Can buy 6.8, it was only one share to test if i got a quote not sure volume available im sure its fine though
I am still learning too and would not want to make any judgements! As about 300k of shares have been bought in less than 10 minutes, there may be a seller and the SP might pick up a bit but this is my best guess!
Selling some of the placing shares. So mms will sell them first preferentially as they're probably on commission?Or are the placees locked in?
JHFH your a firm believer in this company from your posts I have read.
But at what point would you start to doubt your investment here.
Not a clue, unexpected error sounds very unexpected!
Perhaps its because today the shares are getting added from the placing and somehow that has had a knock on effect? I am sure it will settle sooner or later. I was just curious anyway cant buy any more and certainly not selling any time soon at this price!
What is your interpretation of that? (from a very interested but very inexperienced amateur!).
Just tried via HL and got 20k at 6.70. Since 9am at least 15 buys at this level went through
I have tried with AJ Bell and IG Trading which is DMA to buy 100 shares at whatever price and I am getting "unexpected error"
if you can sell your whole holding easily it is not a sign for it to go down. It is a sign for bigger buyer in the background.
again just scaring investors, shaking trees., panic selling then spike up... yawn.
I could sell my whole holding at 6.8p, its lower than that now. Heading southward unfortunately.
Just managed to sell but was getting an odd error code with my broker after getting a live price for a few tries.Maybe somebody is getting preferential treatment with the mms with a big order.
cant sell £2000 of stock?
