Somebody kindly did some working out on what the adjusted price should be with the extra 20% to 30% additional shares.
Is that person or indeed anyone in a position to show this again off the closing share price the day before and also off the average share price in the two weeks prior?
That's just to see where the share price should be aiming prior to any news.
Unless the host country are/were the source of the influence in the decision making process here then all I see is weak management. Probably not Lorna’s area of expertise so some others on the Board should also be front and centre. Would be interested in the views of others as to what would have prevented them pursuing the preferred option of opening up the raise to retail investors?
Respect for Lorna in putting her head above the parapet , she seemed very genuinely distressed at this turn of events , most definitely a situation that she did not want , but probably could not avoid .
However ~ she is the CEO and mistakes have clearly been made , ultimately that is her responsibility . Expressions of regret are all very well but there has been damage to reputations and the perhaps the potential effectiveness of the business model . Let`s hope that is a short term blip and can be rectified with a successful EWT and subsequent developments .
Perhaps Lorna is not suited to the CEO role , but here is an opportunity for her to prove herself .
IF ~ If I were in her position I would be looking to reorganise the BoD as quickly as possible , she has certainly been let down by `Others` and there are clearly weaknesses at senior management level .
Many years ago as a junior manager , I was given a valued piece of advice by a Director :
" Surround yourself with friends , but , make sure your friends have talent ".
I do not know if Lorna has friends at senior management level , but some of the people around her do not have requisite talent and some have certainly let her down .
Get tough Lorna and keep focused on your expertise and this spectacular helium find .
VGLA ~ Investors and ~ Good luck Lorna .
At 0.525p this morning and seriously thought that with adjustment it would open up about 0.8p or 0.9p. It was 1.10p to 1.40p in the weeks just prior.
In the end there were 1.6 Billion placing shares and today over 2.4 Billion or 1.5 X that amount was transacted through the exchange.
Everyone's a winner at these prices except the day traders and those who missed out it would seem.
The huge discount seems to have been attributed to being first mover in Tanzania on the Appraissal well but its surprising because Helium 1 have already stated that the well flows and with a high concentrations of Helium at 4.7%.
The rainy season must be nearing an end if it hasn't stopped already and things should progress quickly.
Targeting several other fractures in the same well and covering the next 12 months operational expenses and a contingency fund on the appraisal well are welcome bonuses and provides good headroom.
He1 has gone from hero to zero. Looking at the chart, sp heading for floor, I'm afraid. With 5.3b shares in issue now and more dilution to come, this will only attract traders looking for a penny spike so they can stuff some newbies. Do not buy this share unless you know how to trade a spike, otherwise you're going to end up holding this dog until it fails completely. This company cannot afford to develop Rukwa as evidenced by £12.7m for an ewt!!! This company's BOD does not even a significant stake in its own company. Avoid, like a sailor avoids the rocks!
Totally agree, I feared this would happen so sold back in April, bought back now but of course far more shares.
I’m not the “always right” guy, anything could have happened and I was fortunately (so far!) right this time.
I really hope it comes good for all.
Cheers
Good for those who could afford to add, but mang of us now hoping it'll improve quickly/news coming. Stressful day for many watching their money more than half.
Nothing stopping this testing 80 tomorrow IMO. One thing is for sure… the spotlight is firmly back on HE1… !!!
No fluke on my part. I posted my thoughts and sell back in April. It’s all playing out as I thought it would back then so far.
If anyone is fluky enough to catch the knife here they will do well. Be very careful though!
SP sitting at 0.64p.
The 8 million in coffers (plus what ever else was left) is worth minimum 0.21p.
You have to value what makes the rest of the company up to be more than 0.43p…
Someone check my maths please?
As bad as this placing has been, for me it’s turned it into as much a no brainer to invest in that any.

the famous words by Johhny Rotten-
Ever get the feeling you've been cheated- haha- good night!
An old vid dredged up from the HE1 LSE BB from 11 August 2021 when HE1 fell from 28p to 12p on the first failed drill results (and funny how their investor companies conveniently sold out quickly on a date just before retail investors were told about this failed drill )
look it up, nasty work there.
And the old Proactive Investors UK website used to daily hawk this dog tord of a share, front page on constant rotation, on its Deep Dive articles. Real sh t-pot masquerading as honey pot- toxic as fk!
Hang your head in shame Pro Active Investors on this one - go look at your cringing bedwetter interviews as the Pro Active Investors website boys realized they have been promoting a dumpster fire- then joined in again warming their grubby trotters by not ditching HE1 but just toning the articles down - if you ever find an old webpage on the Deep Dive they used to put out, you would think HE1 was in the Elon Musk world of new future tech.
And not renting some rusty old broken drill rig that they actually had drilling their first hole- bewildering complicity from online tramps who should know better!
Then two years of silence from HE1, so they bought their own old rust bucket rig ( yeah the same old scrap heap they will use for a few dozen future excuses while they raise and dilute-your shares) BB board going wild with SP will rise when we get blah blah or do such and such - reality was complete failure but still had suckers throwing money at it -- again look it up on this BB .
And that blatant 6p raise when it was trading at 12p last August 2023- sealions and pom pom girls still happy clapped the HE! boar all their way through an embarrassing AGM question time. Highlight being while the Board were denying a raise but planning the biff baff boff massive dilution by introducing the Christmas 2023, the one and only Nasty Toxic Turkey, ladies and gents HE1 gave us the 0.25p raise from 6p that finally decimated all the poor delusional LTHs.
However shocking that was- it produced such a bottom feeder trader feeding frenzy and its shares inflating its flogged dead horse to something resembling starved scrawny pit pony with a hint of profit again.
until now -
Again massive dilution -
So ! Once again I ask you with the famous words by Johhny Rotten-
Ever get the feeling you've been cheated- haha- good night!
Its not all bad though as don't forget these shares you bought today, still have to pay for the HE1 Boards Summer holidays, their Christmas holidays and a big bonus again!
Expect more dilution on any minor profits you make.

This one is for those rancid Rent Boy paid rampers /de-rampers who hail from stinking sweaty shot holes in south east Asian call centers, and who are spamming this board constantly - Your Karma is coming fo
Had a nice homemade cottage pie , just finished it
Ah, so the broker or the company have potential investors to approach if a placing is needed to take place?
So by watching the sell volume it's possible to see the 'forward sold' shares being 'churned' out I guess?Right hot it.
I now see why holders were so annoyed at the news of a placing at that price.
Thanks for the help.
Ps. How does one get their hands the placing share?🤔
Rn
Buda_. My sincere apologies for my response to you earlier. I only now see what it was that you were actually saying; tat on Friday the sp will be affected by the introduction of 1.6m shares into the Market Cap calculation. Yes of course they will. The question though is to what extent, if at all, will that fact be discounted in the current sp and market capital? I think it will be largely discounted.
Its the same
1.6bn x 0.5p = 8m
800m x 1p = 8m
If the investors paid 1p, close to the trading price there is less upside and more risk..
last raise at 0.2p the price dropped below a number of times, so I guess some made less than expected, but it was close to the start of drilling
Its a smaller discount on this occasion with more time to flip their shares before drilling..
Wanting 1p, consider the fact that the running of He1 has seen the share price drop from 10p to a penny, and thats after multi bagging from 0.2p
Sorry £24m not £21m - bloody phone keyboards!!
Til tomorrow.
Many on this board have long been clamoring to get the raise out of the way so that everyone has sight of the uninterrupted trajectory towards EWT and, hopefully, beyond. We now have that and by any measure that puts us in a better place than this time last week.
At close of play yesterday the Market Cap was £41m and that without the funding for EWT - now we have that £8m funding and no obvious, significant interruptions between now and EWT (long lead times notwithstanding). So no material uncertainties excluding the result of the EWT itself - so if this stock was worth £41m yesterday it must now be worth at least another £8m today and with a clear path to EWT. This has to rise, at least to £41m yesterdays closing Market Cap and some mre for the £8m on the balance sheet. Where did we finish tonight? £21m so that is a 100% from here at least before EWT and then some in my view.
Good luck all.
Trump convicted
Hunter Biden convicted
And Lorna doing a placing at .0.50
Seriously, if you said this six months ago, people would’ve laughed at you.
You just couldn’t make all of this up

Neil777 :) Where are the rockets ?
Haha can see you now posting few less rockets :)
What do you think is going to happen? There will be a prospectus based on the EWT results and the feasibility study and that’ll be the basis for the next fund raise to plan the development phase. Hopefully the SP will rise with market confidence to support that ambition.
Time on them was this morning, late reported maybe
Blue boy not necessarily go bankrupt, the placing participants would still make a healthy profit, and it would not be ripping off the shareholders imo 😮
@sammy18. You are reading the trades disclosed after hours incorrectly. This will open well into the 60s tomorrow…
