Time to tap the market for a cash raise via a placing ? nothing like dilution to drop the sp.
52 week low has been breached. This had nice support around 5p for ages.
Not looking good.
Capital expenditure is a reality, LBITDA is balance sheet gymnastics. Just depends whether you're short or not. MM's currently short and milking the likes of you, but that can change in a flash. No way will they raise at this price.
Aimgambler,
To quote “… and LBITDA marginally behind prior guidance at £3.35 million. Capital Expenditure in the Year was £1.00 million and Year end cash stood at £1.19 million.”
LBITDA of £3.35m for the year means LOSS of £3.35m for the year.
Your figure of £1m spend only applies to Capital Expenditure which is only one facet of a company’s costs. Administration (salaries etc) are just another facet as an example.
So if they lost £3.35m in 12 months, you could argue they lose around £835k every 3 months.
Therefore, that £1.19m cash pile at the end of June will be looking extremely thin in the near future.
Pro-rata’ing the above would see the cash pile at a few hundred thousand pound?
Rubbish, just wishful thinking on your part. Accounts show £1m spent last year with £1.19m left in bank and cost cutting measures meaning less will be spent this year. If there is a fundraise it won't be for a long time and not at this oversold price. Dream on.
A glance at the cash flow statement and last financial rns issued by the company shows there is very little cash left based on historic burn rate
cheeky little re-rate on the cards next week?
Who is Michael Taylor and how does he know there is no cash?
Sadly there's bound to be a fundraise. Our best hope (and the most likely way to burn the shorts) is that they secure good terms and the SP recovers quickly once the business is properly capitalised.
Ha ha. Wait till he hears there's no placing and has to cover his short.
Thanks for the info Van2000!
Michael Taylor posted last week that he has a short position open as the company will be needing a fund raise soon
probably running out of cash (yet again) and are preparing to brush off the begging bowl...yet again also.
Tiresome is it not?
Any theories as to this fall in share price? I can't find any clues online and their latest trading update on 19/07 all sounded quite optimistic, so this drop is a bit surprising...! Here's hoping we don't have to wait too long for another positive RNS...
GLA!!
So it would seem.
Perhaps they've ran out of cash. Placing perhaps???
Bit delayed but looks like you go your wish Whooshbang.
Any ideas why the drop though?
Leave a few for me please wb... :-)
GLA!!
Please can everyone sell their shares based on the news so i can pick up some more cheap ones?
Regards
Couldn't agree more DrV - welcome back on board!! :-)
Sold my shares a while back as it seemed a long time untill the potential for Haydale to take off, but now seems to be the time to jump back in (and at a steal right now). I dont want to risk missing out as I believe in the potential of graphene technologies.
"Our transition from a research and development focussed organisation to a commercial operation has accelerated during the second half of the year, and we look forward to driving our business forward in the coming year and thereafter," said chief executive officer Keith Broadbent.
Comments like this get me excited, more of the same please. Seems as I've missed a few new potential technologies while I've been out.
Now that's what I call an RNS... :-)
GLA!!
That'll do me!
Let the slow burn northward continue!
gla
It looks as though someone's bought £236k worth of Haydale today, am I reading that right? If so that's a huge buy - close to 1% of the company!
And I’m wondering if Hi-Therm will enable heat pumps to function viably in situations where they would not previously have done so. In our house, for instance, we investigated getting a heat pump and much as they wanted to sell us a system they said it would not work. The house is too old. But with Hi-Therm, and with high temperature heat pumps also coming onto the market, it could be a game changer for a great many situations.
Thank you SweetTango, that is really useful.
