Agreed, but the share is only rising from a very low benchmark. I remember when this share was over £2.
Difficult to imagine a year this company will break even, rather than relying on cash from the markets, let alone become profitable.
which company shares are heading north? AGM or Haydale?
Nano, did you really need to ask ?
In what way?
AGM ran out of cash and is now to be sold off to a Canadian outfit for a around £1m. Nothing for shareholders.
This will help interest in haydale

Yes I agree that a whiff of a contratc from the MOD will see this take off. Looks like it is gathering momentum on the way toe 1st March figures. Hope that thesew shares are in investors hands and not traders. I wonder where this could go now post last dilution. £9 mill B/E and a good news flow since.
i`ve seen this rise 94% in a day before and probably will again when they start using this for things like body armour ,aero industry and miltary purposes. just to name a few!
A stock like this needs a constant flurry of info to try and stay 'relevant' amongst other more fashionable things. I see it very similar to #SOM from the states (but in it's infanct).
I hope for a rise back up to the 2p region ahead of 1st March. I expect the 'type' of investor in this is not looking for a quick buck and as said before in purchased at 2p post last raise.
All that is required is a decent contract to prove 100% the concept(s) work and this could be a very good value momentum stock.
I wish luck to the holders.
A good rise today. Looking forward to the interim results on 1st March.
Good research, Marcus. Genuinely.
Hopefully the punters will be frothing with excitement.
Another promising RNS this morning but little impact on SP. Noting this was 30p 5 years how much dilution would represent similar price today? This is such an unloved sector but only £9 mill needed for B/E. More news like this would certanly start to attract attention of ii.
Good look to all.
Great news. This bit of the RNS in particular caught my eye:
"The new graphene enhanced kayak prototype has already sold 30 units, leading to positive expectations on potential sales when the season starts, and the first kayaks reach the European marketplace."
Their kayaks start from £1799 in the UK, presumably their prototypes are pricier so it's encouraging that they've sold that many already.
Evidently 1.2m kayaks were sold in the US - Norse aren't selling in the US but that indicates it's a pretty substantial market.
If incorporating graphene gives Norse a notable advantage over it's competitors we could well see functionalised graphene cascading through the kayak market.
Interesting RNS this morning imo. Not a follower of the stock but being able to making the kayaks 30% lighter yet still retain their strength seems quite an achievement.
Shouldn't imagine its the only application either?
It would be a welcome bridge over troubled water.
Don't want to rock the Boat but wonder if we'll Sea a rise today and Wave goodbye to 1.6p
No much meat on the bone but from small Acorns etc. I think £9 mill is B/E so they have some work to do. Companies like this are so unloved now days with Bitcoin and other nonsense available. Like #SOM in the States this could be a huge business in years to come. Just need one big contract to act as a ballast.
Thanks for sharing the video - very informative.
Haydale did a good presentation at a Graphene Council webinar yesterday, well worth a watch -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nwEnR1mz8SE
(Haydale are from 2:36 to 15:51)
At 10:00 JMS talks about what characteristics they can tweak with functionalisation and what commercial applications these have - I haven't seen them explain it so succinctly before and is a good indicator they are wrapping their heads what benefit they can bring to industry.
Overall, it was a good presentation and from the questions it sounded like there were a good number of people on the call.
Agreed. The product technology has been validated. They just need to get some sales now.
This seems a very promising RNS and hopefully leads the way into 2023 being a breakthrough year for HAYD. I am a holder post raise as i think the upside now outweighs the down. One or two decent contracts and this could be a nice momentum stock.
this is a foundation company with a desired product.
yeah its a rough road but it has the most important thing.
THE PRODUCT.
I think awards are pretty useful when it comes to attracting customers actually. Even if it's just subliminally, it makes a positive difference on the persuasive journey. Plus it's arranged by a third party and it doesn't cost Haydale much (other than time) to apply for them.
I agree it's not the most exciting news but hey, it's good to see signs of work taking place - hopefully we see more over the coming months.
So it was a negative RNS? c'mon grumpy. Its nearly xmas.
Yes, true. However it is good to see the potential benefits of using this technology in healthcare.
Awards mean nothing. Profits do. Awards are gained using shareholders funds, the same funds that pay directors and these have a history of failure
Good news and well done HAYD!
Probably won't change the share price much but it has helped my decision to keep holding.
