Who knows! Positive news is followed by SP drops. There's probably something a miss in the background. Meanwhile Verserian has very little news and the SP is flying.
Anyone any thoughts on when/if the SP is going to recover?
Their involvement with Hydrogen Fuel Cells has been in the can for a while, so it's fantastic that they're now in a position to publicise it - Viritech have raised shedloads of money recently and built relationships with big OEMs including Ford and Anand group (a large Indian auto components manufacturer) so this puts Haydale in a very nice position to capitalise on the hydrogen hype train that's building.
Biggest cash figures I've seen quoted yet in a Haydale RNS - just a shame it's not all coming Haydale's way...! :-) Nevertheless, a significant step in the right direction...
GLA!!
Good news! Let's see if we can break the 2p today!
Could affect the share price if this comes off

4p 6p and 8p. Been there before.
Following today's announcement from Haydale, I've put together a post providing context to the announcement. Haydale & Saint-Gobain have been collaborating since 2021 and it's good to see the relationship evolving: SGB is an excellent partner to have.

I think there's cause for optimism regarding the need to fundraise on a few fronts:
Firstly, in their interim report they talked about strong growth in US sales, in particular the rebound in Silicon Carbide powder and blanks/finished tools. With the US economy continuing to defy expectations and keep ripping (big tech aside, to which Haydale isn't exposed) and the trend of onshoring manufacturing this is likely to extend their cash runway by a few months.
Secondly, their fate is now entwined with City Energy who are highly profitable (£8.4m profit in 2022). City Energy are part of the Diversity Network who own 6.2% of Haydale and Ryan Howard is an NED at Haydale and Business Director at City Energy. Having operator/investors like these will be invaluable and with projects such as the Thermal Fluid for radiators and underfloor heating rolling out I suspect that will further extend their runway.
So with these two factors plus the ongoing stream of good news over the last few months (e.g. today's announcement regarding a partnership with CERN, Vittoria, ProTools, United Utilities, Viritech etc) there's reasons to be optimistic that they won't need to raise cash in the next few months. However the spectre of a fundraise will continue to hang over the share price until they can categorically rule out an imminent fundraise.
So how do you rate their chances of raising cash in the next few months?
They burn through about £5m a year at present, and they've already spent about the half of last years fund raise.
I've recently been testing a concept where I summarise RNS' and provide a little context and analysis in a concise/digestible format. I've given the Haydale underfloor news the treatment today. Would love to know whether this is something people would find useful? Link is:

This is bigger than another string to the bow. Potential to be massive. Can see some momentum building once the market digests.
Plumbase- see their vehicles occasionally around London. They did have an office, possibly 'head', in Romford, Essex many years ago. Not much info. Got a feeling they moved out to Harlow area. I was their postman. When I was a postman. When they moved out I remember talking to the reception girl, asking for reason, why were they going, she said we're expanding need something bigger. Romford was too expensive, cheaper elsewhere. Some staff stayed and moved with them, others couldn't make the commute.
A few interesting points on this RIS:
- I'd never heard of Plumbase however they appear to be the Plumbing arm of Marlowe Holdings, a company with sales of £2,738m and profit of £167m. This is a HUGE partner to have.
- The inclusion of a statement from Ryan Howard (NED, also works for City Energy, joined Haydale in October) suggests he was instrumental in arranging this deal
- Underfloor heating complements their Radiator Thermal Fluid nicely and could form part of a Thermal Efficient Housing movement
- I would love to know a bit more about comparative efficiency to existing underfloor heating solutions
Overall this is a potentially very exciting mid-term development from Haydale.
Another very positive RNS, and another product "string" to Haydale's bow. Here's hoping these things start to have a sustained positive impact on the sp at some point...

Few UK companies are attracting inward investment and not a good time for anyone to hand out the begging bowl. AGM were finished off because no one wanted to put any money in on a cash raise, Haydale are equally vulnerable IMO. They have a lot more income, and they're growing faster than AGM managed, but they are a more expensive company to run, and they still burn through a lot of cash.
That is fair enough. I would suggest seeing / reading up Bidstack #BIDS with regards to a cautionary tale in hyping up a sector. I would think #HAYD will need more money (more dilution) before then perhaps several times. One or two big contracts gets them clear of 2p and will only £9 mill E/V it should be within reach. Good luck
I've recently found this company and researching it, any opinions on the RNS?
Does seem like momentum could be building.
Do you know what 7p would represent post recent raise? Gonna be tough to push through this without relevant news IMHO.
The SP definitely seems to be gaining some upwards momentum.

That`s some increase,albeit by 2030.
Yuri - what you on about £13m mcap? It's at £9m.
Definitely Yuri, progress is painfully slow.this product has been 20 years in the making.
As long as they keep breaking records on mounting losses - sp records will follow.
6 months - only 3 million comprehensive loss (last full year ended with £5 million loss)
the way it goes - doesn't look encouraging.
equity £9.8m (that's after 50% equity raise!) and m-cap somehow is still sitting above £13m+
well, world is full of surprises.
Earning report tomorrow, surely the only way is up??
