That's taken a good chunk out of the two big sells we had this week
Ah bless, all these naysayers and doom and gloomers have turned up on the message board, all trying to get a lower entry. The thing is, all of us can see through you. Quite sad and pathetic imo. They better hurry up, because the price is going back up and they all might miss out if they are not careful. Jokers. GLA.

BFD,
Thank you, that helps
Kat showing his ignorance. There's a shocker
Newuncle, I'd guess its because the contract was only signed close to the date of the corporate update and therefore it made sense to include it as part of that RNS. I'd also guess it's because it's a header of terms contract and hasn't actually come into force yet.
Semnet
Following the completion of the acquisition of 66.67% of the share capital of Semnet Pte Ltd ("Semnet"), a cybersecurity company based in Singapore, as announced by the Company on 29 February 2024, Semnet has been successfully integrated into the Group's operations. In addition to providing significantly enhanced cybersecurity support to the Group's operations, Semnet has been successful in winning additional third-party business, including a US$36 million revenue contract with Ypsilon Technology Pte. Ltd. Semnet is trading ahead of the GST Board's expectations and the business is achieving significant profitable growth.
Zheng Kang Wen Mervyn, an existing Director of Semnet, has been appointed as Sales and Marketing Director of Semnet and will support the Group in expanding Semnet's cybersecurity business. He is being supported by a senior leadership team including GST director Galvin Bai and Lam Pek San.
Can't get a quote for £5500?
============================
Buy £2000 at a time.
So there remain ? re Ypsilon but let's park that for now.
Can anyone explain how, if Semnet has been awarded a $36m contract, why there was no separate RNS for this as it is "material" to GST revenues imo and should have been reported via it's own RNS announcement at the time of award rather than in a single line of a broader RNS.
Any sensible answers most welcome that explain why no separate RNS
Still no quote.
Large order to fill?
Can't get a quote for £5500?
Kat you are definitely losing the plot now.
Firstly, I haven't suggested any form of profit for this year, why are you insinuating that i have?
Secondly, we know the price GST have paid for Semnet, it is c£1.5m, with about £0.7m to be settled in shares at the back end of the year. So this doesn't imply to me that the large contract has been factored into the purchase price at all. Nor will massive numbers of GST shares be issued.
Semnet completed at the end of February so nothing really will show in this years accounts.
Thirdly, once again, you show your complete ignorance of how IT contracts work. The company GST have contracted with haven't paid 9 times anything. As posted yesterday, it will be a multi year contract and fees will be payable over the term of the contract.
please do some research before posting in this way
Ah, well... it said it offered cloud services so... there's an apology due!
so... apolgies!
I remembered about few months ago when I said 0.85p and few guys here laughing at me. Now bid is 0.84p and my investment in GST looks everyday ugly. Don't get me wrong, I have share here as well, but doesn't look good at all and now I'm considering to write off and come back few months, maybe Q4 when they solve all this licence they need.
Hope you guys have a nice day....
The audit and certification procedure of the codes, processes and all system components included in the scope of PCI DSS compliance took place over a period of 12 months.
The complete card holder environment, the part of the Ypsilon network that processes and stores card holder data or sensitive authentication data, has been audited and verified.
The certification encompassed verifications on firewalls, switches, routers, wireless access point, network appliances, and other security appliances, web, application, database, authentication, mail, proxy, network time protocol (NTP), and domain name server (DNS).
The result is that Ypsilon is not only class 1 PCI DSS certified but is now also in a position to offer safe storage facility and credit card neutralization services by usage of tokens to third party companies.
So Kat, are you calling the BoD liars or not?
What a clanger!! Your link (https://www.ypsilontechnology.com/about/milestones) is to a company that makes audio products. The correct link was posted below by Jiffybag (https://www.ypsilon.net/). Embarrassed ? - you should be !
