Not posted for a while but are we expecting some news tonight ?
Pleeeeeeeeeeze
Thanks TallchapJG
Hi Max, thats ok, most days this BB is very busy with many concerned share holders making their valid points of view which makes it difficult to find genuine posters against the trolls. Just look at some of the other BB like OMI maybe 20 posts a day if they are lucky. Keep up the good work. Ciao DM

Not quite sure the usage of "laddering" is correct but I may be misinterpreting.
I could be way off on what you mean here but I'll have a stab...
In regards to your kettle and players to the party, I could be way off but I'm guessing you're saying that MM's are collecting a lot of stock ready to sell (they are still governed by FCA, don't forget that) to these new friends (you've already previously alluded to barrick and newmont). Pure guessing but it would be nice if you're guess is right.
According to LSE
Local shop - loaf of bread priced at 15.80p
Customer says I'll give you 15.50p
Shopkeeper cannot go below 15.60p because he will make a loss (apparently)
Work that one out.
Rise in SP, surely?
Droverman,
I do apologise, gotta jump over to the big board, but with respect, didn't get what you meant?
Yep, potentially an endless conversation.
Just take a look at the last couple of days (longer if you can be bothered).
I or, indeed, you can switch (key word being "switch") We could all buy/sell 5m in an hour.
Hi Max made that point earlier today, only Lenz took it up. DM

again, quick witted.
The days of you having to watch the kettle are about to come to an end.
There's a new product available. Quooker, to mention one of several.
GGP is soon to be known as the Quooker!
Thank you stillbemused, that was what I was alluding to in the other thread just not as coherently !
yes still bemused - I mucked up my calcs - you are of course correct.
Hydrogen is again correct - dilution is common in junior miners as they need more funding to explore and pay salaries - until they are lucky enough to strike. I believe there was plenty dilution at GGP before I invested, but luckily as Hydrogen says - there is no longer any need to GGP for dilution - they will be able to take out loans against future income from Haverion. Been too busy today at work. Chill time.

Like it.
Although if I was expecting to be served with GGP and told only XYZ was on offer I'd be a bit miffed.
Very quick witted of you all the same, I did chuckle.
I just need to stop watching the kettle, then it might boil.
GLA
Or you could always offer them a cold drink.
You're sat at home awaiting the expected arrival of a couple of friends. You put the kettle on shortly after they arrive, you don't fill it up because you can gauge the number of cups of tea you're going to make (teapots are old hat, surely?) and you don't want to waste electricity (or to be honest you don't want to pay for wasted use of electricity).
Low and behold, just before your expected guests arrive, you receive notification that another couple of friends are on their way round. No problem, just add a bit more water to the kettle.
Would you believe it, another couple of friends have called to say they are in the area and are going to pop in.
For those who may be new to investing, those who have been "having" a go for some time, and those who have done well with whatever approach they have taken. The behaviour of the SP yesterday was "strange" today it was "stranger" still.
In the market, it's all about registration of ownership, try to follow it and you will be bamboozled!. Some time ago Hydro alluded to the working of laddering (and he was quite right to do so).
For me it's a definite sign that we are about to see an explosion in the number of friends coming to visit!
Exactly when, I have no idea, but it will be soon!
Brokers have filled their kettles to the brim, some have 2 kettles, some have more; all conjecture of course!
Rotherby buying 5% of ggp would give you 1/20 th interest in their 30% of Hav … ie a further 1.5 % of the mines value but their option is to buy a further 5% of Hav thus to buy the same 5% by buying ggp shares they would have to buy over 15% of ggp and that seems unlikely given the seemingly fairly limited shares on the market and the likely price rise they would occur building up that sort of amount. Not going to happen imho
Hydrogen - yes it would.
But GGP market cap just now is £620million, or $US844 or $AU1160 million.
So even although they have a great idea of the true value of what Haverion will be worth, even if I assume the offer was $300 million AU, and the share price doubled that $300 million AU would buy them 13% of the whole of GGP.
I know nothing about high level finance, but surely if NC wanted to take a stake in the whole of GGP - they would sit down and negotiate a deal with SD and his board?
I posted months ago - along with others - that it would make more sense for NC to start building a stake now in GGP compared t paying FV for 5% of Haverion. This was discounted by this board.
I think you have previously posted that over 80% of GGP shares are held by PI's - very high - and I am surprised no serious financial institutions have been build a stake.
Meanwhile have been topping up and sitting on hands, hoping positive sentiment will return to the mining sector.
It depemds on whether you are interested in watching the SP jump after the 5% is bought by NCM, I suppose.
So QED, when this happens (for some) is essential info for their DD.

Idle chit chat.
Have been reading through the posts today - think this may have been covered but not sure - but the 5% option for Haverion Newcrest have is very much time limited
"(Additional Farm-in) within a period of 12 months from the date following satisfaction of the Stage 4 Commitment (Additional Period), Newcrest shall have an option exercisable by written notice to the Company for it or its related body corporate nominee to acquire an additional 5% Farm-in Interest at fair market value."
From the RNS announcement https://polaris.brighterir.com/public/greatland_gold/news/rns/story/xp4py3x
Other posts I agree with is nobody has seen the detailed legal agreement. And that there are some extremely knowledgeable posters on this board - and we are all grateful for their contributions, especially investors like me who know nothing about geology and only mining knowledge we have is what we have researched. I agree contributors with high level financial knowledge and experience are rare, but there are a few who post here occasionally.
Evening Lenz - I'm led to believe that after the PFS, NCM get their 70%. The 5% 'option' happens at the end of the stage 4 period signed in March 2019...hence .March 2025. I stand to be corrected though.
