Hi Speedy, he has a balanced portfolio with gold at 10% and has said that ratio since i read his books 15 years ago, many experts hold that amount, i am not an expert so hold 30% in physical gold and Silver, my ratio is 60:1, the 1 is gold: When the Gold/Silver ratio gets to 20:1 then i will exchange my Silver for gold, if there is any gold left that is. A few years ago, one Egyptian billionaire put 90% of his wealth into gold so must be sitting on a fortune now and safe. Lateral thinker. DM

Oh forgot the bit that the left don't mention, we need oil/gas to make the vehicles that the batteries reside in, the data centers, the solar panel frames, the wind turbine, the production of all the elements that the world lives/survives on. Wander what the world will do when they want our Antarctic oil, change the concession rules, force us out of the Falkland Isles because that will be the base for all the oil companies. World needs oil, whether the left like it or not, cant make plastics from electricity, cant make anything that requires hydrocarbons or heat to make it. Electricity can not make lube oils unless we kill off the whales, no fertilizers, no sulfuric acid to recover silver/gold, no helium for AI chips, the list goes on and for all of the green energy produced so far, more oil/gas production has also increased. Even if Telfer goes totally green, we still need backup, Nat Gas/diesel generators ETC. A mix of the 2 is good and will happen sooner than later, but at this time and long into the future Oil/Gas are king. DM

In our Antarctic territories the UK has more oil than what has been discovered to date > 500 billion barrels waiting to be extracted and then pay off our debt and have a larger Sovereign Wealth Fund larger than Norway. North sea pulled us out of the ShXi that Liebor Government left and again we are at the same point, will our Governments bite the NET ZERO and tap the enormous riches waiting to be lifted and shifted to the UK. Hi LR, i only take notice on what Jim Rickard and Andrew Maguire have to say and they are usually in the ball park on what's going on in the GOLD/SILVER markets. DM

SF, the final financial report will be later in August, this will be the 1st full year report so it will be very important to the financial institutions. It should also contain the expectations for the next financial year, like guide lines for production, AISC, CAPEX ETC. DM

We should have the official full financial report in August covering the last financial year finishing 30th June 2026. I should think in that report will be the guidance figures for production and AISC, i suspect production guidance will be higher for the next year and AISC lower than last year. In the finance report will be all the full goodies for last year. I am hoping next month some other drill result reports will be issued as well as OC information. DM

All Gold/Silver miners are having the same problem and similar SP reduction as GGP. All the spare money is flowing to AI but not for long. Ford is having to re-employ designers as AI can not do the job anyway near what humans were doing before getting sacked by Ford. Don't forget AI can not see the future, has no common sense and is only as good as the question asked of it and can not see the bias put into the systems by the programmers or the materials selected for review. I think it will implode same as Dot.Com and there will be a few left to pick up the pieces as after the Dot.Com bust. So where will the money flow to when the AI panic starts????????????? DM

Not a problem in the long term as long as the central banks are selling US dollars to buy GOLD, apparently 42 central banks have indicated that they would buy gold over the next 12 months. So there you go, hang on, gold in the ground is in safe keeping. DM

Hi Speedy, the interesting part for me was the INFO on the CME, if that is fact on the 24th July and 24/7 trading at the year end could be a GOLD changer. As you say the rest is what people want to make of it. My assessment is 8300 USD/Oz by 4th Quarter 2027. People like James Rickards 10,000 USD/Oz i believe more than my probability or most of the other talking heads, even Andrew Maguire has thoughts on 6000 USD/Oz by year end and he is a good un. DM

Seems that the CME are changing their procedures in that they will now trade GOLD in Oz and OIL in 10 barrel lots starting from 24/26th July and from the end of the year dealing 24 hrs a day, 7 days a week. If correct, this will reduce the chance of manipulation especially if the London Fix is made redundant. Watch video, please comment. Lateral thinker. DM

Said that yesterday and months ago that big banks are trying to force down POG.POS to 3500/50 USD/Oz since they changed their position from 60:40 to 60:20:20 so their big clients can get them in their portfolios. Many shenanigans to follow and don't forget 4th July, Trump wants to make sure his name is linked to 4th July 2026 as its 250 years of USA. If its substantial, then its GOLD. DM
