Hi Wilts, after the EEC was formed an American Defense of State said who do i call if there is a war. Trump has the same problem in Iran, who is in charge, the Mullers, IRGC, Parliament or somebody else with the power. Not the people for sure. DM

DT & YN watch Jim Rickard video, my post at 1015, explains all about interest rates, inflation and what happens with gold. Don't forget 5% inflation and 3% interest rate means a loss of 2% in value, its not very often that there is a positive interest rate during an inflation period. Think in the 1980s it went positive when inflation started to reduce and interest rates were 18%, good time to buy 30 year bonds at that time, but not nowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww. DM

Also the book on Currency Wars. These really open your eyes to what's really going on with Governments involvement, such as ours, as a matter of fact all 5 eyes Governments. DM

YNW, think its better to trade ETFs than physical gold unless you have them stored in a place like bullion vault where they can buy/sell for you as they know the gold is real, selling to coin shop can be difficult and takes time as they have to verify the coins/bars are real.

BT, rented my fields a while ago, too much bother with the EEC, same problem in UK now with our craX government. Bought the farm next door to stop other unknown people buying it, they might disturb my peace of mind after working in crap places around the world for over 40 years, think of working in war zones, coups, hurricanes, typhoons, earthquakes, minus 50 to plus 54 Deg C, arrested by the police and army and flown in hundreds of planes, means most of them. BlueToff the idea is not to trade your Brits unless you have to sell. They are to preserve your wealth against inflation. To sell is to buy land or house, not fiat. If the US dollar/Sterling go onto a gold standard, then to sell some to gain yield/Interest on something. I sold some GGP to buy the farm next door but still holding my physical G/S a long time after going in my box, not a golden one by the way. DM

I agree MM, i posted that a pull back to 3500 for Gold and 50 USD/Oz for Silver a couple of months ago and that would be the base for the continuation of the bull run. (INFO was from a chartist and gold bug) Basically you could say that the 3rd gold bull run which started from 1900 USD/Oz is still ongoing and the present situation is just a pull back and the explosion in Gold/Silver is to follow. Inflation and Bond yields will dictate it going forwards, plus July 4th outcome on gold, maybe not but are we entering the golden age???? DM

I see that a bank in Singapore is going to issue tokenized GOLD to its customers, all good for gold price as its gold remaining in the vault. DM

Hi AL, did you know that a German company has just patented a new way for building sola panels using 90% less silver but much more copper so cheaper as long as copper is cheap. They mix copper with nickel and silicone and then coat it with silver. They calculated if used in 100% of new sola panels 150 million Oz of silver a year will be saved. They think within the next 5 years, unless the Chinese steals the technology. Good for copper and nickel as GGP has both. DM

Still don't get it Enzo, until you have worked in those countries for months even years as i have, then you will understand. That's the problem with politicians, they get a tour of what the hosts wants them to see, then they can bla bla bla i know it all, when they know nothing. Hi DP, Britain controlled the Gulf until OPEC was formed, then by the London maritime insurance companies Britain controlled it again, no insurance no ship movement or very high premiums as now, no ship movement anyway, too risky. DM

Gold nearly always drops after the afternoon fix in London, somebody drops a load of gold on the market and generally China buys up (SME) DM

Hi Zoros, was to kill 2 bird with 1 stones, maybe 3 birds with one stone if POO drops below 40 bucks a barrel, when USA controls the Gulf, then Russia is out of the equation and will remain that way. Never play poker when there is only 3 involved. USA & Russia negates China. Russia & China negates USA and Europe together. Russia is frightened of China, can not secure Siberia and the East 100 %. Only nuclear weapons keeps the peace in that region. DM

Enzo, UK Muslim population is about 4 million, Islamist Republic of Iran Muslim population is around 10 million, including 4 million Islamists, rule 80 million. How would you feel when the UK Muslim population reaches 10 million and they want to do an Iran on the UK, and the same in Europe, not a wild thought when you think that the present Arab states were mainly Christian before the Muslims came on the scene.
