Cobus Loots, CEO of Pan African Resources, on delivering sector-leading returns for shareholders. Watch the video here.
Similar problem Matty, he was the first to jump from balloon with a parachute for testing as he got an extra 2 shillings a week during the IWW, was in the RFC only because he could ride a horse, that was the test to become a pilot then, those were the days according to him.
After the 11WW the Labour government bankrupted him for tax evasion but only after changing the tax rules after the war. He was the biggest tax payer in Whitby and his brother was the biggest tax payer in Scarborough, his business survived for a few more years. DM
Same thoughts Matty, my Grandfather owned a Singer LaMon of which only 6 were built before WW11 and bought a Bugatti from the factory where the old man Bugatti tested him before selling him the car, My Gramps was a fanatic at cars and was the 4th person in the world to drive 100 miles in a hour at Brooklands. Wish i had those cars now. DM
Happy New Year to all GGP share holders and wish you all a prosperous new year to boot, that brings back memories the Boot Inn in Chester, East gate Street in the rows had many New Year drinks in that place over the years. Ciao DM
Don't you sleep Bamps, you are like Liam such a wonderful interview with SD. Putting you all together makes a perfect Christmas and i wish you all including H2 a very prosperous New Year. Think it will be very prosperous a game changer.
Merry Christmas to all. DM
Hi Bamps its less than 1% going into production, out of 2000 miners only 5 will go ahead to mining with 3 not making much money and only 1 will make real money the other one modest profit. That's from the mouth of Rick Rule. Havieron is our money maker and from that the monies flow to find another Havieron which we will own 100% or 75% if we go that far with Rio. SD is very excited with the Rio projects. I like Rudal, drill bit went deep to find gold, i hope it was the tail end and the deposit is closer to surface if they can find it and the new MT survey equipment seems to be the right sort of kit. DM
Hi Ham, SD has said many times that he would like to buy a producer for the cash flow, this mine could be anywhere in OZ but for me the only producer that would favour GGP is Telfer and the cash flow from there would cover GGP until Havieron comes on line projected to be 2025 2nd quarter. This also ties in with Basel 111 timeline which supposedly is finalised by June 2025.
Price of Gold is the main driver for all mines and now a directive from the ECB is that all countries in the EEC must have 4% of GDP in gold reserves and many countries are trying to achieve this by June 2025.
With the soon demise of the gold and silver paper markets precious metals have only one way to go and it seems to me the great reset will be currencies tied to gold and will be sorted out over a weekend and be implemented on a Monday for a controlled change over. If the bricks decide to go all in with a gold and mineral back currency during a week day then its an attack on the western world because the dollar, euro, pound and yen would collapse in one day.
So all in all looking good for gold and silver and GGP. DM
Newcrest knew what is down Havieron and much more than the intimated 20 m oz mentioned by SD on many occasions and is the reason why they went against company policy in not screwing explorers, and possible why the CEO got sacked in the end by doing what he did and also failing in that. Don't forget SD offered 86 million for 5% which priced in the value of Havieron at 1.5 billion or so putting a base line in for GGP at 500 million quid share value. We are in the driving seat with our 30% of Havieron, we don't have to sell unless its for what we value it not Newmont, as the man said for an eye watering amount ie for me 2.0 billion quid not a penny less. Its Christmas time guys. DM
Hi SG, we provide the MRE result as we are paying for it. NEM will only review it and maybe make comments.
For me the MRE will be as accurate as possible no pushing the boat as our BOD have reputations to think of so nothing spectacular or minimization. DM
We need a boost to break out of the current trend pattern like a good drill result before the MRE2 before Christmas. Something big to force the shorter hands and that will be the last time we will have single digit for the share price, we should be 16p as it stands and a base line of 18p after the MRE2.
I think Newmont will need a big MRE so they can say to their share holders look what a good deal we did in merging with NCM. We wait and see. DM
Quite agree Speedy, look at OMI was 38p similar time when GGP was 37p and now OMI is 2p. Its all down to good management ( One of Rick Rules red lines) ( or i might say yellow lines, much better) and as you say funding in position is the main one for me, without funding we are going nowhere and easily manipulated for a cheap TO. DM
Hi TT, dont think there are 800,000 tons in the world, think typo. Wish i had it all. See Poland will soon have more gold in reserves than the UK which hold 400 tons down from 800 tons when Gordon Brown sold off 400 tones to save the banks from their shorts in 1998.
I was informed that ECB sent 69 billion EUROs of gold to China a couple of weeks ago, anybody know why???????? DM
Ben, I'm looking for a 20 bagger over the next 2 years. 3.5 g/t in the initial stoops with drill spacing of 50m we could be looking at more grams as shown in the drill assays of over 200 g/T in some areas, just imagine what can be found, could be a wall of glistening gold. I am interested in scallywag A35 prospect, could be loads of silver down there as well as other stuff, good for the greenies. We await for the other assays and just one hit and we are in a total different position and with a good negotiating position going forward with Havieron and Telfer. DM
Spot on Bamps that puts that to rest then as far as i am concerned. I presume the MRE being produced by December quarter will not be delayed, must be progressing quite quickly now as most of the work and calculations will be in the last MRE report so only a top up.
They are quite correct in delaying breaking through the last aquafer so they get it right first time. Can you imagine the share price if an RNS says there is a delay due to water problems!!!!!!!!!! DM
