I love this market. We get a good RNS and price goes down. We get a great RNS and the price goes down.
Exactly all the positives spouted and we can’t pass 2p.
Shocking on good news imho
Dealer I do hope your off for a couple of tweakers down the local, you deserve them after the day you’ve had. Lol. . .
Defo am very Monday ish with it all today lol.
Dealer is right, why is this share not rising? Anybody have any ideas?
Everyone hopes their investment will grow but after two years and all the positives it’s virtually static, and before anyone says stop being negative I ask what does this share have to do?
Antigua - very simple in my view - until institutional investors start taking positions then this is being traded - little to do with the excellent news and everything to do with short term traders making a buck. What does the stock have to do - well the BoD - just continue to do as they are doing - having secured a Farm in with NC let that run it's course and in the meantime continue to prove up the other projects - in other words nothing different to what they are doing.

Exactly groundhog years now, I assume it’s because of traders on AIM partly and that we haven’t done anything to surpass our current mcap valuation, probably the former.
I agree other than move market or threaten to might do it. Look at CNEL as a case study, they make profit and grow year on year, they have passed stage one of a move process off AiM citing better shareholder value, better growth in sp and ability to raise better finance deals on the HK market.
Jersey, I agree that Gh and the BOD are doing a great job. Although some on here seem to expect good results from BH and FT, I always thought it a long shot given how hard it is to find the bullseye.
We should be content that they have found mineralisation at BH and hopefully will prove up on further drilling. Let’s hope Paddy is right and Gh has better results in the remaining samples.
One day soon I hope to to log on here and see that the share price has rocketed.
GLA!
Dealer get down the boozer man and have a large G&T you’ll feel a hell of a lot better.
Maybe the other drill results are know and maybe we are being let down slowly if the final results are not as good as some may think. If all were releast maybe we may have seen a larger fall back to 1.6's, so releasing some but not all kept the sp in the 1.80's. Just a thought.
AIM means Absolutely Impossible Market. Traders fleece and
Investors live in hope. Shares are traded down until there is nothing left.
Traders make profits and investors may lose the lot. TCG made many FAT CATS
very rich. What investors lost these wealth destruction thugs stole feeling heroic .

GH is very careful with his language - particularly within an RNS - he knows the scrutiny that choice of words will be under. My take for what is it worth is encouraging given:
The presence of several broad intersections of mineralisation in Greatland's first drill campaign at Black Hills is an ENCOURAGING DEVELOPMENT. We believe that Black Hills has SIGNIFICANT potential to host gold mineralisation, SIMILAR IN STYLE to that seen at Newcrest's nearby TELFER mine, although the project remains at a very early stage. We will conduct additional analysis once the remaining four and single metre results are received to determine the best way to FURTHER ADVANCE exploration at Black Hills."
Maybe I have a bias here but having written many a corporate presentation and agonised over vocabulary to convey the right tone and message I am happy as things stand.

Very true that is. Hence why we need to get off ASAP, Gervais has t even hinted and he’s a shareholder himself.
Greatland Gold shareholders: Per Question
"Stephen Beetham 3.76%
Starvest 2.64%
Callum Baxter 2.19%
Andrew Ronald McMillan Bell 1.06%
Gervaise Heddle 0.73%
A. Borelli 0.37%
etc"

Note: I recall that the directors like G. Heddle have options and the fine print also includes an exit event?

JC hi,
Good post and that makes good sense, so roll on the last few results.
Cheers
Tom :-)
P.S.
I missed Paul Johnson at No 2 with 2.64% of Greatland Gold after No Stephen Beetham.
Hi TomE
Did you listen to today's podcast from GH? I just did and was interested to learn about the 4 metre composites and the possibility that this would dampen results but that re sampling will get a truer picture of the grades here. As ever - I am on a learning journey - this is what this makes this a fascinating stock to be invested in - oh yes and the prospect of making some serious profit in time!

Jerseycrew is on the money with his view about the share price. Like many, I have a significant investment here which I have acquired over 18 months but unlike many on here I don’t fret, hour after hour about the share price due to the fact that I am not here for 10% or 20% but for 200% or 300% minimum. Many of the regular commentators on here probably trade a large chunk of their holding which is apparent from their posts and I certainly would not be too critical of them for that due to the flaky shareholder base and what I see is that the traders will often sell on days like this despite a good RNS because they think other traders will sell! In time, longer term institutional investors will, eventually, start to scoop up these shares. This has not happened as yet to any great degree IMO otherwise we would of course see more TR-1 notices and the price would be 3p and not 1.8p. Specialist funds like Sprott will start to acquire decent holdings at some point but they won’t do that IMO until such time as they can be certain that NC are in for the duration on Hav and we cannot yet be sure despite some incredibly positive rhetoric from their CEO. Moving to Stage 2 will help certainly. I also sense that the release of only part of the results on BH today may be a teaser for more and hopefully better results but not 100% sure that GH should bother playing games like that when he has no need to do so. Is it frustrating at the moment when we are on the cusp of something big yes a little, is it exciting - yes indeed, is patience required - you bet it is. At some point soon I feel that GGP share price will start to reflect the considerable potential which many believe is possible and so I will sit tight for the big prize whilst others fight over the crumbs along the way. Many thanks to Paddy and others for excellent research.
