Griffin Mining Limited has been notified of the exercise of share purchase options over 133,334 new ordinary shares in Griffin at an exercise price of 20 pence per share. These options were granted in October 2008 as part of the grant of options to key employees.
dont know why they are buying to cancel, a guess would be either to make the shares less available and possibly more desirable or maybe they intend to pay dividends again, the directors/management want the dividends to be higher, again to make the share more desirable. possibly
isn't it time they bought some more shares for cancellation !!;0))
makes you wonder what they know !! they must be very confident that this price is still undervaluing the share . we know this was at over £1 before the crunch no reason what so ever for it not to be again production and resources both up !! imho
wonder why this hasnt continued its surge??????? where do we see GFM SP by the end of 2011????? Any thoughts??????
yes they bought 50000 to cancel. until recently didn't think this was legal, as long as they cancel them its fine apparently.
167k buy today is this griffin buying again ??
yes think this is a good move mate-i have 5 K in here looking for a return back to the 125s soon
now that i have your attention!! cant believe how many shares GFM have bought back-amazing really- GFM need to substain the rally in the SP now a move upto 80p must be in the offering soon-a nice 1 day rise 10p++ must be coming soon. GLA!
The more they keep buying... the more I keep buying! :)
GFM gets a mention: “China-focused Griffin Mining last week recommenced operations at its Caijiaying zinc and gold mine following two deaths in August. Recent drilling results suggest there may be potential to significantly expand mining activities.”
what does it take before these shares go higher ! they are buying there own shares nearly every day !! if they think they are such a bargain ???? !!!! as soon as i can release some more money its going straight in here just hoping I'm in time !
ha we will soon have an rns saying they tried to buy some of there own shares but there were none left ;0))
Thanks for this, seems to be an ongoing tactic and I decided to get in here Friday, looks to have paid off already. Great potential
creeping up again i think its time people started to see the vast potential of this mine its in china , china want raw materials !! gfm have lots ! come on this was over £1 with half the prospects 2 years ago , they are buying there own shares like there made of gold , and they are !!
maybe I am reading the reports all wrong, but on 17 Dec GFM stated that they had discovered various layers containing zinc, silver and gold deposits and one layer of 2.2 metres contained 127.5 grams per ton of gold with 299 grams per ton of silver. Over on the SOLG board the ex miners reckon that anything over 2 grams of gold is worth digging out ! I am holding lots of GFM shares, but wondering why the SP has not rocketed upwards on the 17 Dec news - similar discoveries of gold, oil etc have resulted in 2 or 3 hundred percent rises - perhaps this will come in 2011 ??? Good luck to all with your share dealing and have a happy new year !
there's not going to be any left for us soon ! ;0))
...than a company buying their own stock. Shame they did not buy in November.. as like me they would have hoovered them up for half the price!! Here's hoping GFM have a great future ahead. GLA
boy these must be cheap !!! still buying there own shares !
