so thats why the price has dropped ! seems like its being held down so they can keep buying there own shares on the cheap ! but it cant be held down for ever just keep the faith £1 in six months or sooner imho !!
yep its about the right time for a griffin buy !!
could be...probably themselves! They haven't bought any for a week now, used to be every couple of days!
yep just had a re think and you are correct maybe they are dropping the price for a big buyer ???
Those large trades were both delayed trades from a while ago and are marked as both cancelled. Not sure for the drop today, but could be a good buying opportunity before the next leg up.
looks like those trades affected the share price today
cheers for that ha ! get it ;0))
The late ( very late) trades appear to cancel each other out and 2 are detaile as corrections so I assume that they did not take pleace - not sure though

I’m not sure, but does anyone know if GFM are still issuing shares in lieu of payment?
morning , yep totally agree just by the fact that there are less shares everyday ! these should be increasing , but they have had quite a good rise all in one go so maybe its just catching up with itself ? but to clarify there position ,they are debt free ,cash rich, lots of metal in the ground, ramping up production, found gold !! and own a share of spitfire oil ( maybe not one of there best ideas ha ! ) but its all paid for . and they were over £1 before the big crunch !! good luck !!
Guys; would like your comments on this thought this was a chat room!!!!!!!!!! If GFM are buying back all these shares then surely this in itself should be pushing the SP up further ???????? NO???? am i right or am i wrong??? but the end of the year sure this share will be around 120/130 it just has to be.
I see they are committed to buying more shares until end of year results. Share Buy-back Agreement, 1st February 2011. Griffin Mining Limited ("Griffin" or the "Company") announces that it has entered into an irrevocable and non-discretionary arrangement with Panmure Gordon to repurchase on its behalf and within certain pre-set parameters, ordinary shares in the Company during the period commencing 1 February 2011 and ending on the date on which it publishes its final results for the year ended 31 December 2010. This arrangement is in accordance with the Company's general authority to repurchase shares.
still cannot believe this SP hasnt flown yet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?????????????
griffin has never reported a buy on the same day ,could there be something coming tomorrow !! have they got one more buy in before news pushes this up again ??
Transaction in Own Shares 31st January 2011 Griffin Mining Ltd ("the Company") announces that on 31st January 2011 it purchased 250,000 of the Company's own ordinary shares ("Ordinary Shares") at an average price of 69p per share. The Ordinary Shares have been purchased for cancellation (the "Purchase and Cancellation").
2 x 100k transactions today.......another rns tomorrow perhaps???
another day another buy ha !!!
Im really surprised that the SP isnt higher- think people need to start looking at this stock - i think another push is on the cards very soon.Like we saw from 40p upto now 70p- sure this will be around 100/110 very soon. It has to be with the numbers of shares in circ. and the rate of their buy back. GLA-
