Roger I take back all i have commented about you in my posts .. you actually have just given me a new leap of confidence , watch the SP jump in 4 mins , as im buying more ..
hi stock pick free ...
such is life , either we sit things out and regret , or take a chance knowing there will be not regret ...
all i know is after life lessons , we only get one chance , our biggest asset is time , the rest is all bull **** .. i make money and invest to have more quality time in this life ... thats all ..
i agree with you and your sentiment , but the truth be known this is high risk and if the funding isnt right , the lights are off .. yet for me , it these stocks , when things are over and their is a chance to bounce back ... well thats where the real money is made and lost .
for me of course i will kick myself if i loose my investment here , but ill be kicking myself alote longer if i dont take a chance ... i just have this feeling , that its there time and the stroke device is one of a kind ...
Having read all of the public consultation documents, from which I formed a fairly negative opinion of the NICE outcome - and I wasn't the only one - and despite evidence to the contrary from GDR itself in terms of it's terrible financial situation, I am actually a little more confident of a good outcome. Why? I simply read the forward looking statement from NHS chair that Lionel posted a link to. Read it.
I came to the conclusion from that that there is a feeling of inevitability from with the NHS bosses that pharmacogenomics is going to be a major part of the way medical services will operate in the longer term and that at some point they are simply going to have to make a start in bringing the science on board. If they wait until everything is known and all safely organised then it could be decades before things in the NHS improves. It's too big, under funded and oversubscribed too by UK citizens. All entitled to it of course but unless some serious leap of faith in taking this technology on board and making a start on creating a national register of every single individuals DNA then doctors will always be working reactively to a patient's needs rather than having the ability to be proactive and making some preventative decisions for the long term benefit to all patients and in the process saving both the NHS and the UK Govt from wasting ever more money on old and less efficient/accurate systems to treat patients. the NHS Chair is adamant this is the way forward. There are hints in the NICE public consultation documents that the panel are taking all the negative comments thrown at it from those with a vested interest in GDR failing to get these tests adopted nationally and have come back with a level toned response that still points to them being supportive of CYP2C19 being used when ever possible and feasible. Once these tests are in place nationally I hope it will lead to obvious evidence that they work and save the NHS money and from that other countries will start to adopt the GDR kits.
In the mean time the sp is taking one of it's usual mid- week dips...
If there's anything I would expect it next week after the consultation closes. The consultation comments will be revealing I think. Even if the final decision is not published until July we may get an inclination from the comments after Friday.
I can’t decide whether or not to get back in now.
The stock is weak, which I kinda like, as it likely means a spike on great news on Friday would be all the greater.
BUT it is only the end of the consultation period. And in the past, as I recall, these have been non events for the stock.
Maybe I’ll miss out on a great spike, I have done before. To me the fact they only a few weeks cash left puts me off. It is SO much safer to get in, if you get in at all, after the terms of the raise are announced. If they even have one.
The other thing is I don’t trust Cheek’s competence at running a business. Talking the talk and not walking the walk at the turn of the year was a big red flag for me. And he’s at it again with these units that were going to come online, last week, which haven’t yet. Fool me once shame on you. Fool me twice shame on me.
I’m going to sit on my hands. It will probably shoot or the moon on Friday, lol.
4p end of week ...imho...hope I,m wrong though.
Lionel. Great posts. Future looking very bright.
Future is Pharmacogenomics and GDR is well positioned now after years of research and product development now with 2 quality life saving tests to come to market.
Pharmacogenomics market to hit US$40 Billion by 2033. GDR should capture a decent share of it.
Not expecting much this Friday TBH , but if the company get the nod then things could start to go forward.
I'd be wary of this pinning everything on this Friday as some of us appear to be. The consultation ends on Friday, but the the NICE guidance is scheduled to be released in July.
Lionel , many thanks for the encouraging factual posts with links .. They have somewhat boasted my confidence further that GDR are about to make main stream.. TBH the strock test after hours of research sold the fact that this company can make millions , and the risk is small , if they dont get it together ...
lets hope they are working hard in the background and this kicks off ..
Just wondering , when we get the stroke test fully approved would it not make sense to swap the FDA applications round , it is more profitable , with NICE approval and another test to compare it too application would be so much easier and quicker????.
Tq BigH , Gino also said the same thing about pushing more tests with this POC device , i think Genedrive’s end goal is pushing this POC and tests through local GP’s and community pharmacist , coz this is easy to use and can digitally update the patient records ..
Some great posts and research Lionel, What we also have apart from the 2 tests is the IP on how these tests are developed , and as it seems to be ticking all the boxes this surely can be used to develop other tests , no brainer.
Video part : 2 , watch full video to find more about PGxand cost savings for NHS .
Bill Newman talks about GDR and POC use from 48th minute , very encouraged with his conclusion about the test.

Great video about PGX in NHS UK , GDR’s 2 test been discussed .. The speakers are confident that these will be routine tests soon .

Similar statements from NHS Scotland .

Its all about time saving and saving lives , hence in ref to the labs , expensive and time consuming ... POC is fast and effective ... The SP has now held ground for the last two weeks , giving many of us time to enter should be brave enough to take the risk with GDR , with their track record ... Its not often we these now , COVID was the time everyone and everyone siting at home jumped in anything that they thought was going to rocket .... now the Market is slow .. experienced investors left ... roll on friday
Personally think if NHS want more lab capacity they will just add it (that might take some time though). Having more lab capacity available also theoretically makes country more resilient to any future pandemic as well.
Finally roger is now being modest about decision make skills .. and has turned a corner again saying the sp will fly , this morning its was lights out ..
Well good luck all , we need it , friday if there is a Rns IS GOOD NEWS , IT WILL BE AFTER HOURS SO THEY CAN DO A RE RATE MONDAY MORNING ..
Stockpick - I think cheek is banking on draft Full recommendation being given at the end of this week. IF it lands and they even give out a rough estimate of how many tests might be used by the NHS in the near future (per year) then the sp will fly and a placing hopefully done on the back of such a rise. That's my only hope realistically not to be shafted twice by this stock and my own poor decisions.
