ii has made it very simple to complete online. you should have received an email (8 April). Look in corporate actions (via portfolio drop down menu).
So far no. Received notice on Tuesday from Hargreaves, you have until 28th April to demonstrate the shares you own and then apply for others. If it’s cancelled I’ll let you know.
I received the following message through my broker today:
Dear client
Our depositary has informed us that the Priority offer on GEIGER COUNTER (ISIN GB00B15FW330) by GEIGER COUNTER has been cancelled. Thus your instructions have been made invalid.
Has anyone else had the same?
Anyone use ii? I've not seen anything about it yet?
Hargreaves Lansdown corporate action is now available for those who wish to take up subscription rights.
HL emailed me again yesterday and assured me the instructions would be sent out by Tuesday 19th at the latest.
Nothing from HL but they’ll set it up quite quickly no doubt and I’ll subscribe. Even if the shares loose some value they won’t hit 37 pence. Timing might be perfect, I’m selling most shares off before recession so when will then be? Another six weeks and after fed backs off, Germany takes on my nuclear this share could be above £1. Gla
Mine in Barclays and now received details and instructed them to be taken up.....in theory dilution should result in each existing share worth c 7- 8p less, but I can't see this happening - to take up new shares, you have to hold your existing shares until May and so I see more upwards pressure on sp due to limited selling....
The market will undoubtedly price in the issuance in the short term... but long term if you're bullish uranium then seems a no brainer to me
I agree. Can't see the dilution creating a large drop and probably only a temporary one. HL's response when I asked about the rights issue was along the lines of Shareholders will be notified but we can't say when!!
Mine are held in an ISA through Charles Stanley, they're not the cheapest when it comes to fees but have always given good service. The subscription shares being offered to existing holders looks likes a good deal to me, the event may cause dilution but Uranium appears to only be heading in one direction given the current geo political situation, disastrous ill-considered energy policies from western leaders and many countries now seeking energy independence.
Mine are held with Hargreaves Lansdown through CREST and still haven't received the offer details from them. Given the bank holidays this month and the cut-off date of 29 April to complete the application process they are cutting a bit fine!
Got my offer through today:
"The annual subscription right gives holders the right to subscribe for one new ordinary share for every 5 existing ordinary shares held on the 30th April each year, or the next business day"
"The first subscription date is 3 May 2022, whereby holders can subscribe for 1 new ordinary share for every 5 shares held at a price of GBP0.3784 per share"
Respond By: 26 April 2022, 1:00:00 PM.
agree, i didnt/dont't know the uranium, sector and comopanies well enough to buy individual ones so i went down this route, we should be told about the 37 offer soon
Absolutely comical how little interest there is among UK retail investors to the the uranium sector .
All commodities are pumping but when you see the shortfall in uranium production to the ever increasing demand it’s an absolute no brainer . Geiger counter is an ideal way to gain exposure to the large cap miners , yellowcake a nice way to play the underlying metal then maybe a little exposure to the exploration side via Power metal and all areas covered !
Higher prices but supply won’t really change, move that quick. Gla
Holtender you need to remember this offer is open to all share holders at the time of subscripion. This will mean we all get the same shares at the same discount. This will cause some dilution to your current holding. I'd expect a drop in value for your current share by the same amount as the discount. So although you will get more shares you wont really see a discount overall. I think this is the case anyway. If not then we're all getting a stellar deal here.
I assumed your entitlement would be based on your holding from the previous year. This is completely risk free return unless I’m missing something?
Re the offer, also see today's (2nd) RNS :

It's all in the RNS last year
How can one participate in purchasing shares for 37p? I guess some warrants issued long ago?
Yes the bull run looks like it could finally be on! Im not sure the Russian ban will happen though seems to be more chat that action. Either way I'm here till the U price is significantly higher than it currently is.
The offer is end of April, not March
something is happening. would suggest we are looking at bans and we are looking at governments turning more and more to nuclear too. uk government is going all pro, france more, japan and others so we are seeing an up tick in uranium prices, the 37 pence offer for more shares end of march is becoming more and more attractable, ratio 1:5 is better than nothing
If the ban happens this should rocket from here!
