"#U3O8 Spot Price moving higher again today so far, US$25.82 and headed for US$26/lb. That's an over 29% increase in less than 2 weeks. #uranium $URA $GCL" https://twitter.com/quakes99/status/932996991310688256

"If you trade on Seasonality, here's #Uranium Seasonality for #U3O8 #stocks through Cameco $CCJ $CCO as the proxy for the sector, thanks to Jon Vialoux @EquityClock for this chart showing average gains over the past 20 years. Seasonality could add more torque to new U rally" https://twitter.com/quakes99/status/929427541563121664
"Have U noticed how eerily quiet Big Money newsletter writers are on the #Uranium rally? The surprise Cameco cut has caught them off guard with few U investments. Probably why U equities are lagging Spot price as they load up quietly B4 sending out loud BUY Signals to clients." https://twitter.com/quakes99/status/931388373968678912

Uranium stocks in Canada and USA all nicely up this afternoon, hopefully reflected in GCL tomorrow
Uranium - A New Bull Market is Dawning https://youtu.be/gfvAIor53Ig
Just noticed the NAV RNS includes this: "Cameco, one of the largest commercial producers of uranium, announced a suspension of operations at McArthur River and Key Lake Mill complex. This will remove around 14 million pounds of production capacity in 2018. The effect of supply rebalancing had a strong positive influence across the uranium sector."
Indeed. The Cameco news has created quite a stir. It could well prove to be the catalyst which leads to an upward turn in the uranium industry. Certainly a bullish start from recent lows anyway.
Yes is a very welcome sudden change. Hopefully the start of a trend. The figures show now trading at a discount again, as it had actually started to trade recently at a premium which is unusual
Ah okay. Ta. Share price move still lagging the NAV move right enough.
So rise yesterday in share price was from 17.75 to 19.625 10.56% rise, whilst nav increased 16.6%
The 16.6 % gain in nav in the rns refers to yesterday's gain.
NAV just out. 21.55p vs 18.48p yesterday so a 16.6% gain vs a share price gain of only 3.8%.
The NAV of GCL should be well up today: https://twitter.com/quakes99/status/928738040335310848

"Analysts saw the move as a massive catalyst for the industry because McArthur River is the world's largest uranium mine. Its closure will take 12% of global supplies off the market, significantly reducing the gap between production and demand. That should eventually bring market fundamentals back into balance, which could help prices recover some of the 70% they've lost since the Fukushima disaster in 2011." https://www.fool.com/investing/2017/11/09/denison-mines-stock-spikes-after-cameco-announces.aspx
From 16:39... "What was interesting was that when you shut down production....in fact the price spiked from 8 dollars to 130 dollars a pound."
Historically the recovery in uranium stocks is usually fast and furious. Here's the legendary Rick Rule last month on uranium: From 13:11... "And if my memory serves me well, of the 5 uranium juniors that I owned at the bottom of the last cycle, the worst performer, the worst, gained 22 to 1". https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nCPCQ6pkm8A
"Today, for the first time in over 35 years, nuclear power generation is rapidly rising while the production of nuclear fuel is swiftly falling signaling a tipping point for investors!" https://sightlineu3o8.com/2017/11/now
