French energy major TotalEnergies is preparing to drill a wildcat well in waters offshore Namibia, using a Maersk Drilling-owned drillship.
According to the latest AIS data, the Maersk Voyager drillship departed Luanda, Angola on 14 November and is expected to reach Walvis Bay in Namibia later on Friday.

Oversold now
Traders leaving early, they move on with their 10%
Afternoon buyers and we will be back to 0.70+
Being dumped.. LOL.. we're 22% up on the month..
FFS some people can't hold for 5 mins
Yeah, not exactly encouraging. Looks like its being dumped.
That would be nice as we have barely had a buy since we hit 72 this morning
Great rise here today although seems to have stalled a bit now. With the Total drill ship arriving this weekend though this should build from here.
Would be nice if our 1 million buyer started up again :)
Well not all of us.......there is of course Geowiz who has been slaughtering GBP for years but has now turned into a GBP Ramper, different folks, different strokes I guess.
GLA
Yes there is and it’s pretty good.

We're a good bunch aren't we :D
@charlie, this was asked a little while ago but nobody mentioned anything. If you fancy creating one, I wouldn't mind joining.
@EGTP, the plans from my understanding are not as transparent.
The slide deck from Africa Oil Week expo in DXB was comprehensive detailing resource, capacity, seismic and geographic topology . https://www.globalpetroleum.com.au/uploads/files/reports/2021-africa-oil-week-global-petroleum-1636626905.pdf
In addition, here's the broker valuation of the company from 2020 https://www.globalpetroleum.com.au/uploads/images/20_07_30_Panmure.pdf
The state of play is open to interpretation and once we have a Farm Out partner it will be more defined. So bottom line, it's anyones guess. My hunch is that, things won't come into play until Venus or Graff commence drilling or oil discovery.
Global Petroleum have just presented in Dubai, check out the presentation on the company's website.
Still have a holding here from years ago and just added more this morning
I know finance is now sound, and the asset is beyond substantial, but anyone able to remind me what exactly is the state of play here ?
Thanks in advance !
5 bag minimum here imo
@Soft, EUA has been a life changer for me, I lost a lot of money in the early days on other stocks and it helped me offset the loss. I've been in there since 2016 / 2017 @ .56. Never in a million years did I see that rising to 30p, otherwise I would have never offloaded.
I see this has potential to 5 bag near term, and 5-10 bag on Venus or PEL39 drill success and then should we successfully find oil and able to bring it to surface, the mind can only wonder.

Another attack on .70. Next resistance is .78 then should be open to charge to .90. Should see consolidation around here before the attack on 1p
