For those who think nobody is driving, both Tambo and BS are on the wheel. POQ is just another passenger though too expensive for us. The POODS proposal to do a reverse split is very smart, but unfortunatelly peny stocks use to return to that condition if no promotional activity or strong prove or value is presented with/after the reverse. That makes me feel worried about wasting a very serious tool with a CEO who has got used to do just nothing out of being paid a fortune. So the correct timing is esential. Now I miss the skill of Bruner to promote Falcon, he was a smoke seller but very good at that, maybe because his $ where on the pot, whereas POQ has no personal interest in FOG success.
What. 🤣🤣. Not sure what u heard. Another year and a half maybe. I admit I use to see POQ positively but increasingly I now believe it’s about his excessive for the level of responsibility salary. Sad indeed
Enjoyed the call today and hearing the current state if play. The name of this game is staying loose, adapting to the evolving and often unknown future situation and taking advantage if opportunities as they arise. POQ is capable and has shown he is capable of doing that. It’s unrealistic to expect a written in stone strategic plan, or to cling to situations/opportunities that no longer. A plan adapting to the current situation was presented. And it sounds good.

Perhaps a different type of letter should be sent ?
BS
So the letter didn't work??????? And I was a believer!
I was very pleased with POQ’s presentation in February and
My hope of seeing a significant return of my investment in 2026 is gone.I have no trust in whatever POQ says now.
Also, His arguments about promoting the share in different ways were pathetic. Is there a pilot on the plane?Im not sure there is.
Now Im waiting for the next meeting to hear again his eternal blame game that explains this fiasco:
- The rainy season
-Hess
-the moratorium
-The covid
-Origin oil and gas
-the stock market
-Tamboran incompetence
God bless America and its investors.
Lets keep dreaming…
Bye now
I didn't realize you had shares McNally.....=p
To be honest we all know talk is cheap when it comes to falcon. We have bags of unkept plans and promises.
The only thing that will give me comfort is seeing the price move on actions.
The US investors won't bring themselves to the table and we won't be moving out of the 50k acres for the next 5-10 years so why would they be queuing up to buy 5% now when they can wait for us to have to do another raise from a position of weakness. At this stage we nearly need to be talking to Sheffield's enemies as in a years time the whole thing will be ring fenced for him and his mates and they can just freeze us out and pick us up for cents on the cents....oh wait we are at cents and they still aren't making a bid.
Very disappointing altogether. The geology and what's in the ground is the only thing getting us out of this mess not the Board of Directors unfortunately. If we get a good price it will be in spite of the plans not because of them.

I guess the difference is both of CEOs for Tambo and Empire are running around repeatedly saying: "great asset"
To those who are taking a positive view of today’s call, I ask you why Tambo & Empire are trading at / or near 1 year highs and we are setting 52 week lows? All companies are raising capital and working in the same area.
Running around repeatedly saying it’s a great asset, it’s a great asset, now pay me is nonsensical. A pilot program has to prove it!
Jesus not good, when the conductor is just a passenger watching that doesn't bode well. I can see a lawsuit in the near future unless the whole board get their thumbs out. Everyone is failing in the fiduciary responsibilities it would seem.
Very disappointing meeting.
Last February. He mentioned that the waiting was over.
We will be bought out by 2026.
Now, he’s saying the complete opposite.
The company wont have any value in 2026 if we exit.
Does he realise what he says?
Yeah but no but yeah!
Maybe in 2050 if blablabla.
It’s ajoke

From what I heard -- I don't want to hear that we should be marketing to the U.S. -- I want to hear we are speaking at these U.S. conferences, we retained this U.S. PR firm, and we are moving forward. That is minimal cost to get exposure in the press. Say we are doing this. Don't wait on someone else to do the listing on the stock market. That is a foregone conclusion - now work on that exposure to press the FALCON story.

Philip appeared to be more nervous and exacerbated as he delivered his AGM comments. Potential shareholder depth is a concern. What happened to the large institutional investors that used to be shareholders? Promotion in the U.S. has been a need forever, so why not employ a large Wall St firm or their Australian entity as Tamboran engaged Morgan Stanley's? An announcement of Falcon working with a reputable Wall St. firm would instantly improve share price. At the very least Falcon should present to U.S. oil analysts to get the ball rolling. I'm sure the Sheffields, H&P and LIberty have direct contacts, and BofA Securities, Citigroup Global Markets and RBC Capital Markets are the lead underwriters for the Tamboran U.S. IPO. Surely one of these, or some other credible firms like JP Morgan or Goldman would be interested in Falcon with the great potential just enumerated

Haha. And then stated "well hopefully the next raise will be at an increased stock price". Doh- where did I hear that before?
Why did you do the raise at such a depressed price? Oh cause we needed the money
Yes, it's clear to me that POQ is looking to drag this out a few more years w his $700K salary, live a good life and relax and then set himself up w a nice golden parachute when BS or someone else takes us over. I almost laughed out loud when he said "yeah maybe some more promotion would help". More of the same.
Phillip looks like he got run over at the agm today. Really is time for a change. Too bad he filled the bod with his buddies. Has thought of everything for his own shake and left the shareholders out to dry. In my opinion Bryan will take this company over for pennies. God have mercy on us. He did do a great job not answering the tough questions.
Anything of note from the investors presentation today?

June 17 (Reuters) - Tamboran Resources (TBN) , backed by Texas oilman and billionaire Bryan Sheffield, is targeting a valuation of up to $474 million from an initial public offering in New York, the Australian natural gas company said on Monday.
Tamboran aims to raise up to $175.5 million by offering 6.5 million shares at a price range of $24 to $27 per share.
The company, valued at A$391.5 million ($258.1 million) in the domestic market, is pursuing a listing in the U.S. as it seeks to tap institutional shale gas investors with access to deeper capital markets.
The proposed IPO proceeds are expected to fund Tamboran's activity in Australia's Beetaloo basin, tipped to be one of the world's most promising shale gas fields and often compared with Marcellus Shale in the U.S.
The early stage natural gas exploration and production company is focused on commercial development of natural gas resources in Australia's Northern Territory.
Sheffield Holdings - an affiliate of Bryan Sheffield, the son of Texas oilman Scott Sheffield and founder of shale producer Parsley Energy - is the company's largest shareholder.
New and existing investors, such as Sheffield Holdings, Scott Sheffield, oilfield services firm Liberty Energy LBRT.N and Charlotte G. Yates Family, have indicated an interest in purchasing shares worth up to $22.5 million sold in the IPO.
Tamboran's backers include Seth Klarman's hedge fund Baupost Group, the Australian unit of U.S. investment bank Morgan Stanley MS.N , College Retirement Equities Fund and drilling contractor Helmerich & Payne HP.N .
BofA Securities, Citigroup Global Markets and RBC Capital Markets are the lead underwriters for the IPO.
Tamboran Resources will list on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol "TBN". ($1 = 1.5168 Australian dollars)

1st Poods - Good to hear your new doc's comments. They are both funny and informative. I've found that the younger docs are oftentimes more knowledgeable than the veteran docs about the latest and best prescriptions & treatments. I too, hope you're well enough to get the fly rod out soon, if not already.
Oleo - Good recent comments and letter. Hopefully the concerns are addressed @ the AGM. Glad to see Nally's return commentary. Now we can only hope that we receive more transparency, greater interest and a higher share price, in the immediate future. We've endured way too many contradictory comments from POQ.
SinceDay1 - agree about the 'intense year' comment by Nally
KMJ, Cam, et al. Had a few minutes so checked some old notes. Just found the original announcement of POQ's appointment as CEO in 2012. His tenure began 4/11/12 and the FOLGF share price was $0.10. One year later the stock traded @ $0.19, a good first year. FOLGF has experienced huge fluctuations since. I believe the highest price reached in POQ's tenure was $0.36 during 2018-2019. You can find the historical data on finance.yahoo.com:
Interestingly, prior to POQ there was little but Bruner bs re Hungary, SA, and unconventional O&G plays, yet the share price hit an all time high of $6.24 on May 1, 2006. Now with real underlying assets, we sit @$0.08, below the date POQ became CEO.
I'd personally like to know what each of the board members own aside from grants, and what expertise they offer Falcon? Also, why is Gabor still around, if Sheffield has an experienced staff and access to the best information in the O&G business.

If they prove up what the “indications”, I believe the size quality will will us a fair price. What number is not worth guessing anymore as FOG seems to indicate there may be some ghosts. But, BS in at 9-10 cent average, I m comfortable in time my grandchildren or hopefully me will be pleased. Thanks for your kind words. POODS
Dear POODS
good to read that you are back in business.
If I remember correctly, some time ago you mentioned that you as a share holder were a driving force to turn around a company in the past and I hope this experience can help to turn FOG around as well.
In my opinion, the strategy with highest priority for FOG must be to find a second and a third bidder for FOG otherwhise FOG is the low hanging fruit for the Sheffields with us long time holders as losers of this shale gas poker in the Beetaloo.
Camelot,
Bingo, I told POQ and asked someone to relay my thoughts to the board. Seems through the “grapevine” I message maybe topical at the board meeting. Let’s hope.
TO my numerous friends for SO many years on this chat, thank you all for your best wishes.
I’ve added a new doctor as my cardiologist has retired. Some of you will get a kick out of a comment she made about my medications. She said “are you aware your XYZ pills were recently discovered in a glass vessel next to a mummy! Maybe there is something better and she recommended me stop taking it because most its effect is included in another I already take. Sometimes change can be good, like in this case, a pill, which brings to mind FOG management. Best wishes this turn into something worth the drama. POODS
First, Poods I hope you are feeling better! I think the letter to Nally was well justified. We as shareholders have a right to know that our management is working for all of us and not just themselves. The history of Origin's screw ups and promises that were not kept has been difficult. The introduction of Sheffield has been great operationally. Yet with the "stellar" results from the SSH1 well we are at basically all time lows in share price. This does not compute. I think back on the Irish Times article on Falcon and POQ by his own words indicated that shareholders were expecting a big return and yet we have not had this reward. If he cannot deliver or demonstrate that he can...then he should be replaced with someone who can . He has been given enough time now.

Praying for a quick recovery, Poods!
Ps many thanks OLEO for the open letter. Not sure of the upshot but a great idea and more than worth the try.
Excuse my ignorance but stop shares buying / dealing a while ago. Just have a couple of shares left inc the disaster that is FOG. Will never venture near AIM again when this sorry roadshow over.
Q When the stellar news was released and the share shot up was there a reason POQ could not have done the raise at that price rather than the 6p he did it at. ? Undersubscribed or not a price Sheffield happy with. Just doesn’t compute with me but assume there must be a reason.
Sorry to hear that news Poods. Hopefully recuperation goes quickly and you can be back out on the bank soon.

From updated filing:
Our goal is joint venture approval of the Shenandoah South Pilot Project in mid-2024 and believe we can achieve ~40 MMcf/d (gross) plateau production in 1H 2026. Based on our petrophysical analysis from completed appraisal wells, we have already identified what we believe to be the most productive acreage and shale benches to target for our first stage wells. The two wells in the 2024 drilling program will create two drilling space units (“DSUs”) totaling 51,200 gross acres around the second Shenandoah South well pad (“SS2”) well pad. The 51,200 gross acre area has the potential to accommodate 23 well pads, or 138 total wells based on six wells drilled per pad. We believe the two DSUs will be more than enough to accommodate all wells associated with the Shenandoah South Pilot Project and over 100 wells for future development phases.

I have to disagree there. I don't want to hear from anyone building a stake - I want to know what POQ has to say to his shareholders. Whilst I accept that the rules a-have changed, this is still our company. POQ has steered us this far with minimal dilution (compared to some peers), so lets see.
Best regards to Poods from me too
Maybe it's time we let Bryan Sheffield run the Investor Q&A. POQ talks and talks, but we have no real investor results or a plan to produce any. Let the man who buys our shares at a big discount tell us why.

The Northern Territory government has approved US gas company Tamboran Resources' plan to significantly expand its fracking project in the Beetaloo Basin, just weeks after signing off on a controversial gas supply deal.
Tamboran now has approvals to drill 15 new gas wells at its Shenandoah South project, about 600 kilometres south of Darwin, after the government green-lit its environment management plan on Friday.
Despite Tamboran's plans to store up to 34 million litres of wastewater in open storage ponds, clear 145 hectares of land and emit more than 170,000 tonnes of greenhouse gas emissions annually, the project has not triggered further independent assessments such as an environmental impact statement.
Environment groups and experts have slammed the sign-off, describing the approvals as "an absolute disaster" for climate change and water resources.
Tamboran's is the first NT fracking project approved since national environment laws were amended last year to extend the water trigger to shale gas fracking.
The water trigger ensures that fracking projects are assessed by the Commonwealth for their impact on water supplies.

Thanks. My motivation for posting is to ease some pain, that perhaps some, may or may not be feeling.
Some years ago I was “had” by a network marketing company, I won’t name, to make a long story short my judgement was impaired, and I lost/wasted a significant and embarrassing amount of money. Because, I bought into the “story”, and kept shoveling in more money, then a little more, then a little more.
Companies make money when they do something that makes money and exploit that something. Beware of companies that aren’t making money and say they will make money after doing this, this, and this. The this may not work.
What a gut punch when I woke up! And here I am, having had this stock for 10+ years.
So maybe my comments will help, maybe they aren’t needed, does it make sense to double down and continue to feed money into this? And continue to have impossible dreams?
Be realistic, about this “world class asset”. The gas is still in the ground. It’s always “just wait for the next well”. And when that well happens, the stock price goes down. And like you said, certainly years and years to go. Potential buyers, and institutional investors know this - a road show is unnecessary.
GLTA
Eagle,
While I agree with much of what you say, "crowing about a world class asset" could take many forms. It's true BS wants to buy it as cheap as possible- the question is, "will there be anyone else who also wants to buy it as cheap as possible"? POQ should be talking to people he's had lined up for years, telling them that he and the board have a duty to support the best offer and that they're not necessarily going to back BSs' first offer. That other offers will be welcome and they should be ready when and if BS makes a move. To me, this is our best chance to get some decent money out of this stock sooner rather than later. If a lowball offer is approved, we're done. If it is somehow put off, I think we have the option to sit back and let Tam prove up more and more ground until it's abundantly clear we are worth something and a better offer is made. Who knows how much of our position will have been diluted by then? I see this scenario taking another 3-5 years minimum. Quite a while ago I stated I would take $.35 now for this stock in a heartbeat. Now, that seems like a pipe dream.
As far as "staring at our navel", what else is there to do on this board other than speculate? If we all "just waited", there would be nothing at all!
GLTA
Regarding the Transparency Items, this assumes Falcon is in control of the world. Any attempt to provide this level of detail is a complete waste of time, and would just provide a list of complaints when the plans cannot be accomplished due to circumstances beyond the companies control. The idea that SA development can be accelerated by the company is ridiculous - the government is the holdup.
As for Mr. Sheffield, a smart businessman, wants to buy anything for the least amount of money as possible - crowing about “a world class asset” won’t change that fundamental fact. Business is business , a fat premium is not going to be paid to satisfy long term share holders. Get used to it, this was and is a very high risk venture. Maybe there will be a high rate of return, but most like not.
Mr POQ needs to be flexible to adapt to circumstances as they come, not put all his cards on the table by revealing a strategy. He’s not going anywhere, many have complained about him for years. The best thing to do is sit back and watch, rather than endless naval-gazing.
We are of the same mind. His purchase of FOG shares, may or may not be a good. POQ is probably not needed in BS’s mind, but how he deals with I have no idea. But, POQ has been on a very generous payroll, which perhaps someone on the board can explain. My fingers are crossed for my grandkids as increasingly my prediction I’ll be dead before the shares reward is is looking bleaker by the day. Win some; lose some.
Hey Poods: Sad but true - I had to laugh at "Let’s hope BS is an honorable and good veterinarian with wounded ducks. Quack, quack." BS though a savior of sorts is my number one concern at this time. He's a guy with the Beetaloo as the prize in his mind. He's young, has the funding and the desire/motivation to get what he wants. He can help us or hurt us. My greatest fear with Falcon is that he sets his eye on the company as an easy 22.5% addition in his pursuit of this World Class Shale play.

Just want to make sure I am not missing something? The "Approved EMP PDF (18.2 MB)" link brings up the Tamboran 5-23-2024 EMP approval, but takes me to an EMP document that references Frontier Oil & Gas Pty Ltd (FOG), a subsidiary of Central Petroleum Limited. Looks like someone at the Northern Territory Government might have applied this link incorrectly.

Yeah 2.5x the avg volume and down 9pct today in the US. The only good thing is that the volume is so low that it could be 1 person dumping some stock.
In typical FOG fashion the share price drops. We have now lost close to 50% of share value since our amazing flow rates were announced.

2.8 million shares in the first half of the day.
Don't know if someone dumped a lot of shares or because someone dumped a few shares in the 7.5 range and that set up triggers to sell more. But it has jumped back up on the US market over today. Fun and games. I assume since there is a Tamboran meeting on June 16 -- for which they now post in Central Time for the US and the Falcon meeting on June 18 there must be something going on. Will just wait and see like I have been doing for years. LOL
