I seem to remember from Ed’s last chat that a couple of investments which could be new or top up of an existing one were imminent. I am expecting at least one investment this month. I agree he needs to create some momentum in the run up to the Leap IPO or sale. We know from EMMAC that such a sale could happen out of the blue on any morning.
It would be massively imprudent for Ed not to make investments in the near future, he needs to dangle a carrot for shareholders not to all abandon ship post leap....although many will be tiptoeing out prior to that sell on news event.
A consequence of years of mismanagement, bravo.
Well said. I’ve switched off much more from the daily prices. Still check in obviously as I’m interested and have a large holding. But I totally agree, Leap happens in Q3 so I expect people to be positioning for that in the coming weeks
I appreciate all your posts guys. I’m not a LTH, just bought in prior to the last drop from 10p. I’m wondering: who is the large single seller off loading? Any ideas? The second thing I’d say is that it isn’t healthy looking at the SP every day. You can’t base a long term view on a short term seller. I can’t think anything has changed fundamentally. The company is now focussed on a single product. We’ve got the expertise, haven’t we? So what’s going wrong? Perhaps someone is selling for ideological reasons, or because they were invested because of their interest in part of the company which is no longer core. Or something else. The reality is we don’t know and the only thing we do know is that transformation takes a bit of time, the seller will be gone soon, and then we’ll see a bounce back up. I guarantee it. Thanks.
If we’re all being honest, which I think I usually am, I too will be selling a large percentage of my holding on the next SP rise. Hopefully that will be in the 20s at least. Been here over 3.5 years and hugely exposed due to averaging down. I do however have a belief that if they can turn this into a leading European cannabis fund then this ‘could’ be huge. The potential is massive over the next decade. Medical cannabis will be norm, legalisation around Europe is coming. Which is why I will leave a little chunk and then switch off, come back in 5-10 years.
5 and a half years for me matwalk, apart from the decent nuuvera success in early 2018 its been a painful share to hold.i plan to sell up after the leap ipo as we only hold very small % investment s in others except yooma which at the moment we have 5% but with the acquisitions planned might be reduced.i like yooma but the one thing guaranteed about FFWD is i will be able to buy in low at a later date!
Unfortunately my faith in the management is not great i just hope LEAP can bring home the bacon but FFWD seems to underwhelm so much.
4 years i have been waiting ? you ?
We all see it all time. Frustration the SP isn’t responding, then boom out of nowhere it rerates over a few days. And then you look back and think, damn that was obvious. Patience here & you will be rewarded
THIS LOOKS DELICIOUS!!
i'M JUST IN THE PROCESS OF SELLING MY LAST REMAINING TRANCHES OF IRR AND I'LL BE RIGHT WITH YOU.
What a waste of time it was reading that post!
Bottom line is - FFWD are going to pop one day soon. And I can’t wait. Cheers all
We have got to the stage 12.5p would be great. A nice decent profit after 6 years
After all the talk of 50p a few months ago some of you would be happy for the SP to get to around NAV , which we think is around 12p-15p.
We even wonder if LEAP will give us a leap in the share price when it does finally go, (if it ever does that is!!). what worries us is that if Leap is so good why are the money guys not buying in to FFWD. It appears that its figures will not allow a float and for it to be bought up by some nice rich company is what we must hope for.
If it is disposed of we hope the money is not gobbled up with the costs of FFWD or put in to iffy new ventures. We need to see value in FFWD. We can understand why so many are selling up. Mind you the MMs are not willing to go below 8p as they think buyers would flood in at 7-8p. It is all mixed signals as we see it. As for a good dividend, think we can forget that.
Long term supporters of FFWD have not been rewarded. So many are getting to the stage they just want out.
We are going to add a few more to our holding just to round the numbers up but as things stand we are NOT going to add in the 100,000s as we do not have the confidence anymore
Will try and look in at the weekend. Chin up in the mean time, one day perhaps!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Shame lse doesn’t have a ‘pinned’ twittere style option, coz this should be right at the top of this page:
‘ Quite happy to bugger off for 19p
I've had enough of the vainglorious nonsense of our effete directors.’
7 recommendations so far, Ampt,. I think you have caught the mood of a number of long termers
I don't know what is going to happen after our liquidity events will everything go back to sleep for quite a while thereafter until we have another gden nugget or two we haven't got doses of Investments have we?
Aligning his experience......don’t think they’ll ever understand!
Instead of insiders buying, I’ll now settle for an options rns!
‘ Mr. Alfredo Pascual commented, "This is an important time to join the team at FastForward and I am keen to align my experience in the flourishing European medical cannabis sector with their position in the UK as the only quoted investment fund with a significant exposure to the space .’
Perhaps Freddy will earn his salary and bring his first investment to our portfolio. This week would be good.
So excuse all the ambiguity of ed buying any shares wouldn't it be encouraging if Freddy the hat bought some or is he waiting for his first monthly salary
Quite happy to bugger off for 19p
I've had enough of the vainglorious nonsense of our effete directors.
Good of you to share.
In that case it is no wonder he is speaking about the low sp and aggrieved at not being able to buy as he can get 2.5x the shares as he can at the warrant prices eh?
Would love to see it double so that he doesn't get off lightly ;)
Let’s hope he gets those exercised this year
He has 1m at 19p and 1m at 25p.
If you check the last 2020 Dec interims its says in there I'm sure, think its 2mill.
How many warrants does Ed have Barwickman?
He could have bought in the two recent fundraises but didn't , however, I don't think he realised the impact on sentiment that him not buying in ffwd has.
His recent posts on twitter about the value here do have a point bearing in mind that CEO promotes are not unusual they are in a hot space right now . I do hope he keeps to his word and buys some shares , he has plenty of money to do it with his recent jiggery pokery using ffwd to increase his wealth .
I know there are warrrants at 13.7p but haven't looked back through to see what else there is , warrants outstanding should be reported in all results ... but they are not and kept hidden so that people forget.
Cracking day!
So why is the market not onboard? We can pontificate as much as we like, but ffwd aren’t a new kid on the block, but still we are in the doldrums .
