Finally, the Unions have agreed on a new pay deal with staff... they get a whopping 20% increase on their basic, a 3.25% increase on their sector, and a one-off payment of £1,500 if they started flying before 1st Jan 2024. At least a costly strike has been avoided and makes EZY a very attractive employer of choice compared to Ryanair!!
''Realistic to assume over 600 when all the new ISA money gets shovelled in''
How long for it to get back to near £16 - the level I sold out at in Jan 2018?
It is certainly making fast progress since getting back into the stock at 392p less than 6 months ago.
Realistic to assume over 600 when all the new ISA money gets shovelled in next Monday pre trading update mid April but wtfdik

MAYBE this year ... but NOT this week
A bit of trivia on this bank holiday. Using a flight app I have (no, I’m not a nerd!) as at 1735 there were 111 easyJet flights showing as “live” - pushed back or airborne. Think of all that revenue at premium prices!
Anyone think the sp could break 600 this week? GLA.
@max_run
OnBuying Back…I got message….will action asap
Seems swissport in Zurich failed to load a baby car seat - so although the expenses incurred will be charged to Easyjet they’ll reclaim all costs from Swissport - no harm done. Apparently flight was rammed :)
And with the miserable, cloudy weather continuing in the UK, there'll be an even greater urge for many to get away to sunnier climes to escape dreary Blighty. Let's hope 2024 is the year easyJet's SP really breaks out and heads back to £10 where it belongs given its bright future.
Usually the talk is of pandemic travel restrictions, crew staff shortages, airport staff shortages, ATC strikes, war. Worst I can find is old ish passports which are still hanging around. How about the passport office send a damn letter to those that have longer than a 10yr issue date.
Well u can't have everything. Can't wait for the April results, should be great imo.
And what is happening with fines for taking kids out of school during term time? Absolutely nothing…thinks it’s something like £60/ week per child…..accepted procedure. Or, as hairdresser said: teachers were on strike for more days than my kids will be absent!
Bumper May incoming 👏
Trading update last year was 18th April. I think we’ll have a much clearer view by mid April, 2-3 weeks away. Current average broker forecast is £6.83 but if we have good results then this could well go higher.
Time will tell, a little patience needed. I’m positive though, I think all airlines are increasing margins quite a lot this year based on prices I have seen……
I'm interested in views as to where easyjets share price could rise to in the next 18 months.
With the rights issue, i don't think £15 (pre-covid) or close is acheivable again in the medium-term. With market cap of £4.33 billion meaning a share price of £5.70... how big will the business get.
I can't see much past a PBT of £600m in the next 18 months, and so a market cap of around £6bn(rough 10x earnings) - this would still mean a share price of £8ish.
Thoughts?
Love the quote in the daily mail article
"Reacting to the data, travel expert Paul Charles, chief executive of travel consultancy The PC Agency, told MailOnline today: 'Low-cost airlines don't exist anymore. Higher costs, including wages, fuel and increased supplier fees are forcing airlines to hike fares and pass on those costs to passengers."
Really? I can find hundreds/thousands of cheap fares across Europe right now. As has already been noted, cheap flights don't exist for people trying to get away during Easter at the last minute because they waited until the plane was nearly full..... and at this point yield curves will be rightly upwards. Fly cheap book early (or take a huge risk)... its not that hard.
Just a subtle hint then Max?!!! Here’s hoping for a steady rise above 600 and for it to stay above. GLA.
I'm still keeping the faith here. Not sold a single one.
Looking forward to the march to the pre-war levels coming this year.

@Prime
Long time no chat! Lloyds been on fire 👏
When it looked like ezj not hitting my 575p target I took out 2 hangars (25%) at 566 and 567..now slashing wrists.
Happy Weekend to you :)
@ Stille
Hope your well
EZJ doing well
GLA
Travelled back from Faro to Bristol yesterday. I go down every two weeks to my house. The flight with ezy is always chocker each way. People diving in to the food/drinks trolly and spending on duty free. Ezy flights rammed right now. And ezy holiday ? Must be powering on. £6 and upwards must be coming.
The manager at my local Budgens store has a trading cave in his spare room. He’s not selling anytime soon even tho he bought at 408. Just saying :)
NuckT,
The share price has gone up 20% since the start of the year and c70% since the start of last year.
It’s going up. Not sure what trend you are observing.
Travel stocks are rallying with TUI.
Beware the Iran Red Sea warship today.
@Glennhoss
Was just my TP for Easter
Think now 575 realistic
Qube reduced short on 25th March.
I see this hasn’t moved or even looks like moving upwards. Anyone have any ideas why EJ SP is doing so badly?
Why 2 days stille??
