The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Garonne, you talk nonsense. You’ve been talking this stock down for as far as I remember. Strange for someone invested to do that.
Even stranger for someone to invest in a share on the basis of what random people say on a forum. Pretty sure you have a short position and think you can influence.
Reading about Redx (backed by Redmile) delisting concerns me. They cite low liquidity leading to depressed share price as the reasons for delisting.
Any thoughts on this and does anyone know how Redx situation differs from Scancell?
I wonder if general uncertainty around gambling industry regulations is holding back the share price. Otherwise, it’s a great looking growth share - growing revenues, low cost base, increasing cash pile and anticipated future growth.
Stock cheque,
These guys are pathetic and whatever they say or do will not move the needle on the share price. If they think they have the power to move the share price by spreading spurious nonsense, they are more foolish than they appear.
Institutional investors will move the share price and minnows like us and those fools just have to ride the wave.
NuckT,
The share price has gone up 20% since the start of the year and c70% since the start of last year.
It’s going up. Not sure what trend you are observing.
Ade,
So you’re now spinning out positive vibes about the company now that you have long positions?
Why not add some real value by giving genuine reasons why you go long or short rather than being a d1ck giving out false information? You’d get more respect and possibly an understanding of you real sentiment. What you say has zero impact on the price. You just create useless noise.
Ade,
Would that 99% include you? Given that you’ve been slating this company and the CEO relentlessly for months and months, for their lack of sales and apparent inactivity, you then claim that you’ve bought shares in the AFC even though the CEO is still there and there are no sales.
Nice rise on the day after a recent glut of good news. Looks like development work behind the scenes is beginning to bear fruit. Looking forward to announcements of some sales over the next 9 months. Still a long term hold.
Bullwinkle,
The article was written in Dec 2020, so closer to 3 years ago that it was written rather than the 4 years you seem keen on stressing.
2 things:
- Do you really think a politician wrote the paper or do you think just maybe that there are scientific advisors working or advising on these matters.
- Secondly, written in Dec 2020, it was the guidance to which acceptable levels of performance was required from future technology requirements. Therefore current builds would try to meet or beat those thresholds. It takes years of development. Given that AFC is saying the energy use is 20% of that threshold, it’s unlikely to be ‘4 years behind the times’.
Unless you can show me where other companies are doing it far more efficiently?
Ade, everyone here apart from you and Daz plus a couple of others want the share price to rise. But people are willing to be patient and see the progress. New technology that’s being gradually adopted worldwide. Takes time.
