Desouzza, that’s correct. The difference between 77% and soc 43% means that Scancell’s product shows c80% better results at this stage!

It should be an Automatic Conversion: Existing AIM shares are typically converted into new Nasdaq shares (often through American Depositary Shares - ADS). Shareholders usually do not need to take action, though broker systems will adjust.

One for me to keep trading in the 420-480 range until it hopefully breaks through.

So I’ve read that Phase 3 trials have a 50%-60% success rate in the US. This is obviously broad brush.

Do any of those who have more understanding of clinical trials and Scancell’s proposition have reasons to think why Scancell could have a higher chance of success than 50-60% at this stage?

BOJO, I guess if you’re putting all your eggs in the Scancell basket, it’s probably a very risky issue. However as part of a diversified portfolio where you’d probably also have investments in trackers, ETFs, shares etc.. it’s probably a worth risk taking to hold some Scancell shares for the long term and be quite comfortable that it’s currently loss making but with the potential for a huge upside.

Point taken but Yellow pages was destroyed by a huge technological advance with the Internet. Probably not quite the same situation with AT. A strategic change that could backfire but can be reversed.

Don’t worry Happy D it’s 12% now. You should survive.

I would assume that negotiations are already underway and not just starting from this point. It would however be interesting to hear what they say about this in their presentation today.

Hopefully some big upward price move after the presentation to indicate that the big corporates like the sound of the results.

I read the RNS as being cautiously optimistic for the future. Market reacting cautiously as such.

What’s the advantage of remaining in AIM in your opinion?

Who knows if Scancell have been sounded out with a low-ball offer to reflect the higher risk without more compelling data and they’ve rebuffed the offer because they are confident with the efficacy expected. They may be waiting for higher offers when the results come out.
