The partnership seems quite small doesn’t it, but I hope it’s a positive, they’re still looking at ways to grow the brand.
My nervousness is the lack of comms from customer service. This is impacting trust pilot reviews & twitter.
Have you seen both Steve Davies and Cheryl Calverley are presenting at conferences today / tomorrow? See below. Not sure if this is a positive or not. Is this something they do quite often?
If I was in the last days of business, I’d either be in full day legal contract meetings to wrap up the sale or helping in the warehouse getting as much stock out as possible before admin. I hope a funding or buyout deal’s done and they’re just dotting the i’s and crossing the t’s.

..... update —— 50% sale now over and mattresses at least back to full retail prices.
On last checking the 5 day 50% off everyone sale is still running though today would be day 6! Previously they have always been good at stopping a discount on time. In saying that they had sold out of The Sleep Away Mattress and The EVE Sloth but both available again still at 50% off !
French EVE website still showing as not functional!
I can't help feeling that announcing this partnership (outdoor huts) would have been a lot better had it been organised to launch in March (before the summer) than in chilly October... What UK accommodation that does open through the winter can become a bit of a bargain so hard too see the benefit to eve before next spring.
These tweets are definitely a good sign - why will they be tweeting promo material if the doors were about to be shut?
Neighbour's sister works for a company with holiday yurts in the UK. I know they were super-busy and opening plenty of new sites just after lockdown, when everyone holidayed in the UK. Seems like a promising business. Do we think that unyokedco paid much for their premium hybrids or does 'partnering' mean eve gave them (refurbs?) mattresses?
Interesting timing nevertheless when CC must have plenty to think about, and a bit of a USP for eve.
I imagine that one hand of the business is getting ready for admin or T/O, and the other is 'carry on as usual' as "that's our job" – and, don't spook people any more than necessary.
I’ve not seen anything posted on social media for a few weeks… so a glimmer of hope.
Posted at 4:30 today: Calling all nature lovers! We're thrilled to announce we’ve partnered with Aussie outdoors-y start up @unyokedco, who create incredible ‘off-grid’ cabin experiences in Australia, New Zealand - and now the UK.
They’ve also updated their blog today: https://www.evesleep.co.uk/blogs/the-well-slept-club
It does feel different today, a bit more momentum.
& a bit of FUD around!
The important question is.. how many customers do return their mattress after 12 months?
Customer returns are the nemesis of the likes of Asos and Bohoo, but does this affect Eve in the same way?
I agree the number of returns is important but unless we have seen figures we do not know what percentage they are.
12 months trial does seem excessive. 90 days would be better.
It's might be that most customers are satisfied and that returns are actually low as a percentage of overall sales.
A data director should get the details right though lol
Some confidence this morning :-)

Or only replenishing the best seller lines?
Is stock being replenished?
And taken directly from EVE website -
sale
Amazing sleep essentials at frankly ridiculous prices. Get it while stocks last.
So what happens when there is no stock left???
... of the way through October ( and EVE eventually told us some truth and said cash due to run out in October) so wonder how cash reserves are holding out?
It’s not sensible to continue to sell products without each and every sale adding some cash into the bank as net profit!
He writes very well but (unless I’ve made a copy and paste error) there’s a typo in there with ‘aim is the get these’ which should be ‘to get’.
Not important in the scheme of things.
According to his latest post, he left eve in September, and has a 'new role coming'. He was at John lewis before eve:

Tasked with accelerating our use of data at eve by making it higher quality, more acceptable and delivered in a way that helps the business make better decisions. The primary aim is the get these foundations in place and then start to move up the maturity curve. Thanks for that D and Holy.....Guess we all want a happy ending just wishful thinking from some.....
Could well be that it was Pigeon's post that kicked off that rise! Started after midday didn't it?
Didn't work today, if it worked last time.
I thought the same, although they got the 23rd right. Maybe a lucky guess?

Rumours there looking at a 10p+ takeover
"Strong rumours a rival to eve possibly simba may be the buyer makes sense" Have looked over internet can't find anything suggesting a buyout so unless you have inside knowledge where did you hear it from? cheers in advance
