Hi all, I only recently heard of EUA. Finding quality stocks is not easy, and I only wish I'd found EUA earlier. I avoided the recent peak and snaffled some at 22p so if the sale comes off I should do very nicely. I know that many here were in from the early days. How did you hear about EUA? How are you going to find your next EUA?
I found EUA in 2018, I researched for commodities that demand was going to outstrip supply. More research for small cap companies that had found a good amount of the commodities. Invested in some and sat and waited.
I watched, and yes I questioned myself when my portfolio was worth a lot less than it was but you have to ignore the games that are played with the share price. I firmly believe that games are played especially when the share gains traction. The big boys try to scare the little man like you and I into parting with our shares. You have to believe in the fundamentals and ignore all the crap.
Imo, if the sale does not happen and we move forward ourselves, holders will still be sitting pretty because we have what what the market wants and needs, It will just take longer.
I was down to my last £1500 in my portfolio when I bought into EUA (Oct 2018) it's now just under £40k, ive banked £15k profit and am still holding 150,000 shares.
EUA, the gift that keeps on giving hehe
For me it was on a tree shake late 2019 from 3p to 2p, and there were some huge buys going through, so I took a load at 2p....still holding strong
Found Eua,on of all places, the LSE users also hold,section......of Sxx page, traded in n out then the lightbulb moment occured, bought n held
This is how I arrived, Portsmouth1 tipped us off on SXX
Buy
“RE: ALBA - The Next EUA 8000% gain coming12 Oct 2020 10:32
Hi first post on here,
Bought in @4.1 5ks worth tipped this share on eurasia board, bought in there @0.84.and tipped a lot of sxx about that share,
Researched this share, and feel it has massive potential. Eurasia is a once in a lifetime share but it may go close. “
Thankfully I listened cos I I was £54k down on that 1. Thanks Portsmouth1
I started investing after hearing on SXX the same as Bellers. If it was Portsmouth1 - thank you.
I got in 1st at 1.8p before the rise to 4p and tree shake all the way back down to 2p. Lost a load on SXX but was worth it has made so much more from this. Still own 1.2 million shares.
Someone mentioned EUA on the GGP bb.......but remember noting it at 0.5p a year earlier did some research and bought in Oct 19 after banks Rns , watched the Dmitry interview @Nov19 and saw SP drop from 4p to 2p but luckily for me that’s when I bought heavily.
Not sure if there’ll ever be another EUA or GGP but you can never rule it out !
Same as Bellers and Mark. Tip from Portsmouth on sxx.
I know cross ramps are normally frowned upon but that was an absolute belter for a lot of people.
Owe that guy a pint / pub / brewery*
ATB LB
*delete as applicable depending on outcome.
EUA was briefly mentioned on the AML board by JTMacs the day suspension was lifted and I decided to do some research. Liked what I read and bought in heavily the next day (even selling my AML shares). Started off with a holding of 58k and have built it up to just under 300k since. Up 73% so far.
It is one of three stocks in my portfolio and, undoubtedly, the largest.
Owe you a magnum of champers, JT :)
GLA.
Another SXX survivor who got a tip from Portsmouth1. If I had managed to scrap together some money but 3 days sooner than I did my average would be pretty much half the 0.98 it is. But hey, I'll make everything I lost back on SXX and then some. Plus with the things I have learnt along the way I have already found a bunch of stocks that will make me more money than EUA if only due to number of shares held in comparison.
Same here sxx from someone cant remember, sorry!
Hoping this will cover my 50 k loss
I followed the incessant ramping of EUA by Wandgrabbit on the old III SXX board, when it was 0.6p. I was much derided on the SXX board for following him.
I ended up investing £60k so I have a very large debt of gratitude to him.
July 20 at 19 p brother introduced me
Average now at 17.4 p not the biggest holding in the world but happy
It sounds a though if Portsmouth1 s address becomes know to us ,once it’s complete he’ll be taking bottle deliveries. Certainly from me.:-) A nice crate or box of something nice.
Whilst on a touring holiday in Russia I came across a bloke stood at the side of the road reading a map. I asked him if he was lost, he said I'm looking for montegorsh, I have shares in Eurasia mining and I want to see the mines for myself, but i have got a dodgy satnav. I gave him directions and he thanked me and told me to invest all my spare cash in Eurasia mining as it would soon sell and be worth £3.50, so I did at 17p. I think he's name was Rowka.
Good one Tonwin.:-))))
Read a times article about the sinosteel deal, was invested in SXX, so thought it could be a good bargain for something bigger later on.
The same with me Monkey, JT Macs on the AML board. I’ve 275,000 at 26p.
Like many of the others think I picked it up as a cross ramp from Sxx board.. Can't remember who though. I foolishly put most of my Sxx dregs into Trx and lost a load more. Put the remainder in here for a small holding and thought it was another disaster as went into suspension two days later. Would have given up at that point had it not been for the likes of Tilly etc. Thankfully loaded up after suspension to an avarage of 16.5p....... Hoping to at least make my losses back in there entirety.
Morning All
Bought my first lot 1999 paper certificate, with Arm holdings , Qxl.com, Barrett developments & many other dot com boomers & busters ( mainly due to 9/11 stock crash )
Kept my Eurasia only a small holding then added 2018 & loaded up in summer/ autumn 2019 especially after Bank engagement,
My brain is frazzled with Rum , but remember Mac , stockdake ,Anders uk , Andre01, Ian ,Jim jam,& many other quality posters & also remember a huge infestation of Bots .
Then went to Velvet mermaids bar & Grill & picked up Septic Lil with her quivering Lobster Pot .
Rums all Round
It was mentioned on the Frr board, late 2019, can't remember who by.
Wow, some great stories here. Thank you for sharing. I was also in SXX and lost a lot there. Wish I'd picked up on the EUA talk at the time haha!
Jesus, Capt'n - I remember having shares in Bookham and QXL. Almost put me off investing for life (laughs)/
Reading all the posts here today I feel totally inadequate in the fact that I own just over 91,000 shares, rather sad really.
